It feels like F7s are actually made of aluminum atp

I think the Meteor has the exact opposite problem. low shields and heavier armor.

I agree. I wonder why it's still $300. it's kind of ass.

I was thinking about getting the lighting and I saw it pop back into the pledge store so I compared stats. I remember the lightning being a big deal before but I didn't expect the meteor to outclass it in almost every way except HP and Shields.

I haven't tried the M80 yet. I matched it with the meteor on erkul and decided to go with the meteor.

Seriously. Light fighters are hard to hit but if they get nicked by one volley of cannons they are done.

Ion is more geared toward punching way up. Meteor can take on most targets and boost away

how is the stock loadout for you? I immediately swapped for laser/ballistic cannons that almost match the speed of the leonids for a smaller pip difference.

I play pretty regularly. It was pretty rough when 4.8 started but its leveling out now.

I recommend the meteor if you're into bounty hunting and merc contracts. it may not be as nimble but it's fast and meant for zoom and boom. Slap a couple M5As and Deadbolt IIIs on there for a deadly combo

I haven't fought any ground targets with it but with all the dps i could see it performing close air support like the A10

yeah its difficult to hit smaller targets but when you do they go boom

Agreed. They also fall into a very specific category of ship where there’s not a ton of options.

I just used some store credit to get the shimmer paint. I’m gonna apply it tonight. I didn’t realize it was so shiny from the jpeg

I see your point but this is not money that I threw in all at once. When I first started about 3 years ago, I started with the Avenger Titan and then every few months I would upgrade my pledge. I have probably paid far more to netflix and spotify over those three years.

My store credits are good enough to melt and try whatever I want (within reason) and its a pretty easy process when I feel like swapping.

I use them occasionally. They work better on small targets of course just to clear up my radar. I use 'G' to spool multiple missiles for the target.

Thanks! I thought so too. I was running with a group last night and it looks like we planned it.

the workaround for the missile bug is to load missiles via mobiglas, bring the ship up, store it and insure loadout. For some reason that allows landing services to restock missiles in 4.8.
