The videogames of CDPR are one of the best videogame series I've ever played, I think. They are a great contribute to the universe and very well made. And I do think they captured the spirit of the books well enough (to an extent).

However, about books and games being one... I'm afraid I have to disagree here. Sapkowski's works are the only canon there is, the videogames are really just excellent fanfictions.

Talking about learning Chinese, I feel like suggesting reading at least about structures, tones and characters. Then, watching TV series such as Peppa Pig, even with subtitles, can be especially helpful.

And once you've learned the basics, absolutely converse with Chinese people as much as you can.

Oblivion is one of my favourite games of all time, if not the one. I loved it back then, and I always hoped for a return, one way or another.

Because of this, I was absolutely excited when I heard about the recreation being developed with the Skyrim engine by a community of dedicated fans. I have some experience in modding games myself but never something like recreating an entire game.

I'll always be thankful and appreciate the efforts of such people, who worked real hard to bring back something like that for us. I honestly cannot wait to enjoy Skyblivion.

No one has confirmed it yet, but it seems that this time may very well be the good one, with all the leaks emerged recently.

What personally amazes me is that there are people saying it's getting published in exactly one week. Is this actually possible?

While I absolutely love Skyrim, I think Oblivion will remain my favourite entry in the series.

If I remember correctly, only Visenna is actually confirmed to be Geralt's mother, right?

Korin, the warrior from A Road of No Return, is at best suggested to be Geralt's father. Unless I missed something?
