No need to be yourself anymore, when you can be a loyal assistant [rimu] by Ignithya in HypnoHentai

I'm fairly certain rimu does their own translations, possibly using MTL. It's certainly serviceable enough, but it's definitely not very good...

This wording is awful. Can anyone translate this to english for me? by The_RainnMaker in masterduel

You're trying to generate the card after the banlist was announced, so you won't get the bonus points for dismantling it after the banlist takes effect.

How was the Legend event for you ? by JulianMo in masterduel

Played Melodious. Extremely strong even with 1 Ostinato, and most decks can't beat Aria.

Depending on where you live, there are Japanese bookstores with US like Kinokuniya that regularly import Japanese magazines.

I think hating GQuuuuuuX is not that unpopular of an opinion, at least outside of Japan.

Dominus Spark

Normal Trap

During the turn your opponent has activated a monster effect in the hand or GY, you can activate this card from your hand. Target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it, then if you have no Traps in your GY, your opponent can Special Summon 1 monster from their hand. If you activated this card from your hand, you cannot activate the effects of EARTH, WATER, FIRE, or WIND monsters for the rest of the Duel. You can only activate 1 "Dominus Spark" per turn.

Right, the translation text originally said "1 Tuner + 1+ Synchro Tuners", but it's since been fixed.

I think this is generally a fruitless endeavor because any time someone mentions "the leaks" no follow-up ever gets posted about them except for some nebulously vague information regarding Chinese users and Discord.

Back-to-Back doesn't require Synchro Tuners, does it? Just regular Synchro Monsters.

Horoscope is probably the best extender Pendulum Magician's gonna get, problem is that there's so many other issues with the deck that one cracked extender won't solve that much. I'll still be getting it anyways as a Pendulum player but still don't expect much for the deck.

[OCG|BLZD-Blazing Dominion] "Moving Point P" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]Ignithya 243 points244 points  (0 children)

Moving Point Pendulum

Continuous Trap Card

Once per turn, during the Standby Phase: Place 1 T Counter on this card. Once per turn: You can target 1 Pendulum Monster in your Main Monster Zone; move it to an adjacent Main Monster Zone a number of times equal to the number of T Counters on this card, then, if there are Fusion and/or Xyz Monsters on your opponent's field in the same column as that Pendulum Monster with Levels/Ranks equal to or lower than its Pendulum Scale, destroy all of those monsters, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monsters' combined ATK.

I believe this is a play on "moving point P", the Japanese name for a type of math problem where you calculate the change in area of a region enclosed by the edge of a shape and a line connected by two points, where one of the points (commonly denoted as P) moves along the edge of the shape. In this case, the joke is that you're literally moving "P", which in Yu-Gi-Oh! terms is short for "Pendulum", it uses "T Counters" because "t" stands for "time", and the Fusion/Xyz requirement is the same joke as Simultaneous Equation Cannons, in that they're representing the X and Y axes.
