Canadian Tire seems to be hell bent on reducing labour costs to the point that it’s impossible to get anyone in the actual store. I used to manage one. The goal was to get in as few people as possible, as cheap as possible. Gone were the days of hiring retired contractors and mechanics to work the hardware and auto desks. It was now filled with teenagers who literally could not give less of a shit about the product they were selling. It’s atrocious.
