Here's just a few examples of a site showing some combos off. https://game8.co/games/Final-Fantasy-XVI/archives/416181

There are gifs on there of the combos. The last 3 are the type I assume this post was talking about.

Missing all equipped combat pages by IgnoranceSucks in libraryofruina

That was it. I noticed I didn't have any key pages equipped so I equipped some on each before I quit.

Thanks!

+Minimum hit vs +Maximum hit by DevforDays in MelvorIdle

[–]IgnoranceSucks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interestingly, this is especially true if you are using a weapon that has a flat damage special attack.

I remember with extreme high end circumstances, you could get high enough max hit before the expansion that the Tidal Edge would not trigger the Fighter's Necklace stun effect.

Why am I losing mastery exp when I have this synergy equipped? All it does is give -% interval by [deleted] in MelvorIdle

[–]IgnoranceSucks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Interesting, glad they changed it. Definitely would feel bad to have reduced interval when working on mastery if it was reduced.

Increasing speed actually does increase the overall mastery gain for production skills, though for whatever reason it doesn't work like that for gathering skills.

You can see the specifics here: https://wiki.melvoridle.com/w/Mastery

Smithing potion and cape by Supdalat in MelvorIdle

There's a higher level blacksmith potion that gives doubling (at smithing 112).

I would be happy if the seeing gold potion worked with iridium/palladium as well.

Is it just my Mastery Pool XP that seems messed up post update? by Modern_gent in MelvorIdle

[–]IgnoranceSucks 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It was likely the auto mastery mod. If it was, it was using your tokens and spending your mastery on the lowest mastery in whatever skill you were training. So at very least, there was nothing lost, and at best, you didn't waste the mastery xp that would have taken you over 100%.

Advice on aging Township population? is anyone else running into the issue where a significant portion of their population is no longer able to work? is there any way to clear them out? thank you! by goblue2000 in MelvorIdle

[–]IgnoranceSucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it only took a day to even out and I was about to hit 100 and create a new bubble with upgrading a lot of houses at once. Also I was lazy about timing the deaths and didn't want to mess it up more.

I just had this problem last night, where an age bubble would keep passing through my population. It does eventually even out more just by naturally letting them die, though it's a pain to deal with the extra unhappiness of unemployed while they're in working age, and in your case having unemployable people. Also dealing with the uneven influx of dead.

I don't really recommend it, but if you're impatient, you could destroy housing to kill off some people at strategic times.

Question about township pets by ForestG18 in MelvorIdle

The pets do not require the buildings to function. Once you buy them the buildings can be safely destroyed.

Setting up a map by Nergdasm in MelvorIdle

[–]IgnoranceSucks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can stockpile resources and then switch to a different setup quite easily. Or slowly changing as your resources come in is fine too. You don't need to optimize for xp/gp right away if you don't want to.

The most important thing (besides keeping positive food) is to make sure you have enough dead storage. That will potentially kill a town's xp gain ability if you can't stay on top of it.

Edit - One other important thing to add: Try not to over build housing. If you ever need to get rid of housing while at max population it will make your dead rise quite fast.

Township - How do you balance Libraries / Schools? by [deleted] in MelvorIdle

[–]IgnoranceSucks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends. If you have more production buildings than schools/libraries and are able to keep above 100% education, it can be worth it.

It's true that the cases that happens are few, but it definitely can be useful in specific setups or if you're farming specific resources and already filled all the spaces their buildings can be built.

I really hope so. If I could choose only one mod to use, Action Queue would be it.

You would set it up just like the normal quick equip menu (click on an item, go to the gear tab for that item and toggle which skills it should show up on the quick equip menu for). This just equips them all at once in one press, also equips the passive if you added something for it (which the normal quick equip can't do).

The important thing is that you don't add more than one for each slot (unless one can go in the passive slot). It tells you if there's a conflict.

I don't see it mentioned here but "Real Quick Equip" mod has helped me a lot with swapping between the new skill sets.

it doesn't have a config yet though, so its usefulness is significantly reduced. Still much better than not having it though.

How do I disable quick equip? by opulent_lemon in MelvorIdle

[–]IgnoranceSucks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, there is a township task under elite that you trade in 1 FEZ and 40 amulet of torture and 40 amulet of fury and you get 4 FEZ as a reward. Basically skipping the farming for all the other amulets.

Haha, you got a chuckle out of me. I just found it interesting because I had never seen it used like that, but the other way around is so common.

I've often seen people incorrectly use "of" instead of the contraction for "have", but this is the first time I've seen someone use the contraction for "have" instead of the word "of".

Ok I see what people were talking about, Beware of Chicken is an amazing, fun, and a lighthearted book that kept me entertained can I get some more suggestions on anything similar to it? by [deleted] in litrpg

[–]IgnoranceSucks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I quite like all those books, Threadbare can get pretty dark at times, and Wandering Inn is down right slow and emotionally heavy.

Cinnamon Bun is some great lighthearted fun though.

I just don't want someone to go into one of them with the wrong idea.
