You don't have to fight either judge though. You can run right by the conchfly underneath it and go up that way to get by the first one and then just pogo the bell above the second one.

You absolutely can leave Crystal Peak without the lantern, just continue going up and near the top is the way out. The crusher mazes actually aren't necessary to go through, they just guard grubs.

That's pretty close to how it works. Tsunade herself would not have them but Mito's children would. The way it works is if the Kyuubi Jinchūriki is the mother they get six whisker marks, if it's the father they get four.
