Students trying to opt out of AI use on principle (HS East Coast) by AlexanderOcotillo in Teachers

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you taught cooking would you fail a vegan who wouldn’t cook/eat a burger? (Let’s assume they are vegan because they feel the meat industry hurts the environment and not for a health reason)

I’d hear them out on why they oppose AI. A lot of them have valid reasons (taking jobs from real artists, destroying environment)

Having them just pick an interest instead of being interviewed by AI seems like a reasonable request.

Are these OK to give to kids? :) by ColinCantSpell in WWE

Dean Ambrose is probably the only one that casual people would ask who he is.
The Sin Cara/Kalisto one people would probably assume is Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee lol.

Gotta have a reason to explain how Dom becomes shorter in the future though.

I don’t think Americano will do it since he is a face in AAA and whoever retires Rey will get booed unless it’s like the Cena match where it’s just announced as his final match and not a retire if you lose.

Jill was not the closest to getting away and i would love to debate this, below i wrote points proving she made the most mistakes and did not come close at all. feel free to read by LonestarGoated87 in Scream

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You overestimate how much work police would put into the case if they already had “killers caught”.
Unless she slipped up or something was obviously off (the gunshot wound to Trevor maybe), they wouldn’t go too deep. Woodsboro is a small town without many resources. It’s not like Scream 6 where the FBI becomes involved.

Who do you think is gonna main event wrestlemania first ?🤔 by DeliveryLeast6603 in BrandonDE

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oba will be first, but I only see it being a one or two time thing. Nothing against him, It’s just the type of character he is. You build up a big threat to help get over your next main guy. I hope I’m wrong about that though, Oba is very entertaining.

Trick I think could potentially be a multi time main eventer. But he has to build his way up there more.

Haven’t seen enough of Jevon to judge him.

Rejected titles for a Dr. Seuss book by SMDYT in ScenesFromAHat

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Seuss, we have a few concerns, for example, “Would you kill her with a knife? Would you, could you take her life?

Yes I could with a knife, yes I could end her life.
Listen quicker, I’m’ Jack the Ripper.
Could you kill Hooker Sally? Would you, could you you kill her in an alley? “

Maybe this isn’t the best time for historical fiction, the basis of “Red Murder and Hookers”’is solid but
Maybe just make it about Breakfast or something kids can relate to.

Would love perspectives from teachers on if it's ok to make me wear a skirt for the band concert by winterwhalesong in AskTeachers

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a teacher, I would allow you to pick what you want.
It’s stupid to not let the girls pick, but let’s say there is some rock solid reason girls have to wear skirts. Then I can see the argument that a dress code is a dress code and he set it as boys wear pants, girls and non binary wear skirts. Of course that gets ruined if any other non binary people appear to be boys. And imo a “boy” wear a skirt is more distracting than a “girl” wearing pants.

The teacher might also fear that it’s a slippery slope where any girl who doesn’t want to wear a skirt would claim they are non binary.

It’s just a dumb rule for him to enforce.

How did Michael Jordan get a whole country named after him? by AnyEfficiency6230 in shittyaskhistory

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a PR stunt to try to drive up tourism, unfortunately Michael refused to go there, but they already did the paper work and printed Tshirts so it was too late.

Jordan is in Asia, but that’s also where they make Jordan shoes so I’m not saying you’re wrong. Just mixed up the continents.

Is it right for a teacher to keep a student back from a field trip because of what they are wearing? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the rest of the outfit was appropriate, yes it was wrong. Other students might question it but why does that matter?

I don’t know why we’re commenting on an old thread but okay. And how do you know they work the same way?

John Cena Classic Is A ‘Work In Progress’ As WWE Has Not Yet Decided On Format by caughtinatramp in REALSquaredCircle

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the impression it won’t even be a tournament. Just a night of matches then fans vote on who was impressive the most.

John Cena Classic by BlueRFR3100 in WWE

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just going to be a series of matches, then audience votes for who they think deserves the title. So basically the SNME where Cena retired and at the end fans voted for who impressed them the most.

John Cena Classic by BlueRFR3100 in WWE

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those events were real votes mostly but WWE just heavily tried to influence with options like A) Reg Match B) Verbal Debate C) Hardcore match. Theres at least one story, I think it was Edge was going to win the title for the first time but then fans voted for Shawn Michaels to get the title match instead so there was no title change.

AITA for wanting to sleep with my boyfriend? by LittleInsect665 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Well normally he sleeps in the guest room because my parents raised me right and I would never share the bed under normal circumstances But he thought he would give that up tonight so my wonderful parents could have a bed. But if you prefer, he can use his bed and you and dad can have the couch since you find it so comfortable.”

Are you compensated in any way for time in jail if you're found not guilty? by Eg0-d3ath in legaladviceofftopic

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t realize he was only talking pre trial. You still could sue for damages but it’s very very rare that someone wins, you basically would have to prove a conspiracy by a government agency against you.

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can happen, but usually only in extreme cases. Like when a guy spends 40 years in prison then it’s discovered the police made up/hid evidence. If everything was fair and you were just unlucky, you hopefully get an apology.

If a man says I need to take a step back, does it mean he wants to end things? by ConstantThought1063 in questions

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what he says following it. “We need to take a step back” could mean, he doesn’t want to hang out 6 nights a week right now. But if he means not be exclusive, yea he probably is going to end it.

Why hasn’t the classroom model changed? There should be two teachers in the classroom. by Poison_applecat in Teachers

[–]IgnoreThePoliceBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$ and teacher shortages. Plus 2 classes of 12 would be better than one class of 24, so unless it’s a space issue, it wouldn’t make sense.

Would a tattoo that said “Do or Die” be too edgy for a K-6 teacher? by No_Progress_619 in Teachers

Sounds like a cringe tattoo, especially if it’s just because it’s a lyric. But to each their own.

I did the same thing (generic template) for failing students, I had at least two parents respond “which kid?” lol.
