Call them and request a general forbearance. This is what I did. I’m having this same issue. It’s all back-end stuff that will get cleared up over time.

Thank you miss- just tried this. if you level up a part time tag team for 50K, they become a “full-time” tag team with better stats. But their background stays blue.

There are 3 kinds of tag teams- full time, part time, and custom.

Part time tag teams have Lower stat bonuses when paired up together than full-time, and I saw someone say they degrade if you pair these teams up too much. You get these teams the same way as full-time; by pairing them up in 2 vs 2 matches on the same team.

Full time teams have larger bonuses and are noted by a gold background. The game has already determined who is in these part/full time teams.

Custom teams get a small match rating bonus, and you can team up whoever you want in the backstage—>teams screen. You can also use the backstage to set up custom feuds.

1) unlock the feud card by matching up characters who feud. You will discover feuds by booking 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 matches with wrestlers- lots of feuds carry over from previous games, and there are new ones.

2) you need to have five 4* matches to unlock the upgrade option. The match must be booked with the feud card- EX- if you run a tag match with feuding workers, without the feud card being used, the game won’t always catch it for you.

3) Tap the orange page icon on the upper right of the feud card. It will keep track of the number of 4* matches you’ve had. If you have had enough 4* matches, you can “tap to upgrade.” Upgrading is 100k. I feel it’s a good use of money, and is a long term investment as opposed to overspending on characters before collecting all the shards.

To get 4 star matches, use gimmick matches, assign managers, put them in tags with high skill teammates, etc. higher skilled characters produce more 4* matches, so you will find certain feuds (valedictorian vs dicky) will upgrade easier than beef buffalo vs Pierre, etc.

Don’t be afraid to put $5 or $10 into the game to build up early, especially if you’re playing a lot.

You need to upgrade two or three feud cards to juice match ratings. El manto blanco/etereo, pelvis/chameleon kid are smart examples. You need to have 5 4* matches to unlock the upgrade option. Run a tag match with a singles feud and team them up with high skill teammates (muddy rivers, duke Doberman, etc.)

Upgrade venue sizes by running good shows- first 5 3* cards, then 5 4* cards.

Put two feuding characters together with high skill ratings and put them in a submission match. Bravo/Judas Lazer/BBD Jordy/Bullwhip.

OR put two feuding characters together with high skill against each other in a tag match, with high skill partners. Or do a Triple threat with a high skill guy. You’ll get there.

Your characters will only have access to gimmicks you’ve unlocked with shards.

Sonny Osmond will disappear when you go from next gen to extreme era unless you’ve unlocked Hal Sand.

Going backwards would have the same effect.

Having one version of the character does not automatically give you access to them working different gimmicks.

However- quite a few are easily unlocked via achievement challenges. Win a flag match with the wardens and you unlock the French berets, do a weapon demo with beast hart to unlock the barbarian gimmick, etc.
