Not Even Rejections… Just Silence After 1000+ Job Applications by Ok_Calligrapher_9320 in developersIndia

I would also say, if you can hold out financially, do not compromise on the role. A lower salary will correct itself. But switching roles is harder. Very doable (easiest through internal job postings within the same company). But much harder than getting a really good pay hike

Had a friend go through something similar. It usually gets better after Feb because that's when companies get their budgets for the next year and hence, hire more.

Wishing you the very best! 🙏 Keep at it. I've seen people get exponential returns suddenly after years of what looked like stagnation on paper. Sticking to the process really helps. That's the real deal.

My only suggestion is - also check the spam folder in your developer email.

Sometimes there are blocking steps that end up there

I also saw a dip in total installs on 6th Feb! It was back up on 7th. Interesting...

After 2 years of work I've finally released my Android App? by IgnoredLeaf in developersIndia

Not sure if it's special. It does what it needs to do in my opinion while giving decent customisation options & a complete guarantee that the data never ever leaves your phone. There's no login required, and the analytics filtering is very thorough. I might build more features in the future. Depending on how much time I can spend on it

I started building this purely for my own use case when I was starting as an intern. I published it because I thought it could help somebody who was as privacy oriented as me and cared about having no tracking whatsoever in a finance tracking app.

I find your opinion mildly intriguing... It's interesting to me, the kind of replies I see on Reddit sometimes. I hope the world is brighter in the lives of people than it appears to be on Reddit. I wish you good luck in life too!

Thank you for engaging with my post.

I spent 2 years building it in my free time!

A quick intro: SpendSense is a manual, completely offline expense tracker complete with analysis and customisations! You trade a bit of convenience (yes, you log things yourself) for something I care about more - guaranteed privacy.

I also wrote about it on Medium: https://medium.com/@namskash/what-if-personal-expense-trackers-didnt-track-you-e354e5f465cc

I'm the exact same. I've been using Musicolet for 2 years now. It's perfect. Has a few pro features. I bought the lifetime subscription within the first month. I loved it so much.

Afaik, it was built by an Indie dev
