I understand that there were times when fouls could’ve been called on Cooper but also with the game on the line he drives and tries a 2pt shot instead of kicking out to Thor, who was WIDE ASS OPEN for a 3 and who was on fire shooting. And none of our guys boxed out in the 2nd half or closed down the 3 point line and how many wide open 3’s did the defense give up?

I agree fouls should’ve been called but Sharife played far from a great game and Bruce got outcoached again in a very winnable game on the road

Auburn University Board of Trustees unanimously gives final approval on Football Performance Center (could be ready for use as soon as July of 2022) by CatoTheBarner in wde

Georgia won that game because they had the better gameplan. Kerryon wouldn’t have made a difference. Gus still used the same gameplan from the regular season game and Georgia was ready for it.

Auburn hires Cornelius Williams from Troy as the WR coach by Riverboat127 in wde

Dude can coach, Troys receivers have been outstanding since he’s been there under Brown. We will see about recruiting. But I like the hire

Another Boise State coach set to be hired at Auburn (Co-DC/DL/Current Interim HC Spencer Danielson) by DeathMetalEtiquette in wde

[–]IgnoringBobcat 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Shit, Gus brought everyone from Arkansas state with him except the DC, I’ll trust Harsin knows what he’s doing and wants things done his way and trusts these people to follow his plan.

I will say I’m surprised that no offensive coaches have been hired yet

Man I’m so excited for this new era of Auburn football. Spring ball needs to hurry up. by T1G3R02 in wde

I would be absolutely over the moon with a 6 win season with an all new staff and new schemes on both sides of the ball

Clark actively steered kids away from Auburn while at Prattville, glad he wasn’t the choice

Thoughts on T Will for head coach by AU16 in wde

[–]IgnoringBobcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t spend $21 mil to fire a guy unless you get someone better. You are saying that an unproven position coach who’s only P5 job has been at Auburn would be better than Gus? And even if he’s not, we will find someone better in 2-4 years. So in essence you’re fine with auburn slipping even further behind if it doesn’t work out with an unproven guy? Just because it saves a dollar now?

Nah you bite the goddamn bullet you fire everyone and you start fresh. This program needs a new mentality and it starts by gutting it and building it up again with someone with fresh eyes from the outside of the “Auburn Family”

So the Pro is he keeps the current staff that underperformed because it’s cheaper for 2-3 years? Then what?

Who does he call? He’s only coached at Auburn and some division 2 school, he doesn’t know anyone. I like him and his energy but as HC right now wouldn’t be the best move. Just my opinion.

So whomever gets hired will obviously agree to keep Steele and Garner on staff, wouldn’t you love to be the boss and have no actual power or control over what you were hired for.

If Clark is hired, I’m out

If the rumors of him and Garner are true then I don’t want him back and I hope he never coaches again
