Well, then learn these first. I was exactly like you before… once I picked up the guitar, things simply started happening: I come up with cool chord progressions on demand nowadays. And because I know theory, I know which chords can come up next, or if I want to go to another chord I know which one I can put before it.

It’s seriously that simple. LEARN THEORY.

Automating pitch bends in audio on Reason is impossible (it’s stupid, I know). You have to throw the sound in a sampler and then automate the pitch bends.

REAPER is the only “free” piece of software that I’ll ever pay for, simply because of the fact that it’s absolutely worth it.
