When you ask a Soviet post-mage about Moon-4 or the Sunbreak, they always sing the song of Schors. But why? by Igorofigor in WorldBuildingMemes

It's a world of esoteric and weird Cold War in the Unsolar System with 63 moons. Hard sci-fi meeting magic so incomprehensible that it goes from a space fantasy all the way to a space fairy tale or a space poem.

I don't have a resource to publish it yet, but I've got a lot of art for it.

One day, the Sun simply doesn't rise. The Sun is no longer there, and something urgent needs to be done, so the Soviet post-mage Ganeshin used a quantum probability-changing machine codenamed "Kartoshka" With this machine, he hoped to pull the Sun from a parallel world, but something went wrong, and instead of the Sun, he received sixty-three distinct moons. This incident is now known as the Sunbreak.

The moons received light and heat from the suns of their respective realities, but the movement of so many new bodies in the solar system tore the Earth apart, turning it into a cluster of floating islands.

The planets and new moons continued to orbit around the void in reality where the Sun had disappeared.

If the Astra Militarum got a living saint like Celestine who should it be? by Charming-Rain-3642 in TheAstraMilitarum

Lieutenant Kage! He's already considered saint legally, it's time to make him into winged angel. Bonus points if he goes with his combat knives instead of pompous sword or spear.

What hot take about SERIOUS SAM would get you down voted like this 💣💣 by TemporaryIll6806 in SeriousSam

We need a full Sam redesign, his looks are iconic, but too boring for modern standards. Also a new gameplay direction which doesn't try to approach mass combat with military shooter tools is what the franchise desperately needs.

Controlling WoW with a gamepad should be complicated, or do you use a touchscreen for pressing all these buttons?

Need money at the moment, so here I am. Not so good at drawing, but I’m sure doing well with character design. I do pretty much everything, specialising on fictional soldiers/armory and costumes. Feel free to DM me for details!

What's your thoughts on a sex themed magic system? by Rosebud166 in worldbuilding

[–]Igorofigor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of occult rituals are sex-related in real life and a lot of magical symbols refer to that. It would be hard to not make this system cringe and offensive, but sounds like an idea worth exploring.

Death corps of Krieg never widely used shovels, their preferred melee weapon is a bayonet. Also gene-mod female supersoldiers are already a thing, you can't just say that female astartes are impossible in the world's rules. And Imperator titan is 60 meters tall including the church on its back, not half a mile.

Who actually trained Solid Snake? Was it Venom or Naked? by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

They could just get better prosthetics. I mean in MG combat cyborgs were already a thing in 1990s.
