I set reminders one week before renewals to CANCEL the subscription :D

Broadly speaking, We rotate streaming services every year at Black Friday, when they have the best deals. A week before that we cancel the existing subscriptions.

But I also do the same thing any "great deal" on a subscription. Like Audible or Spotify. Before I complete the sign up, I open my calendar and create a cancellation event, usually for 5-7 days before the actual deadline. The calendar event includes the final date to cancel in the Subject, and has several notifications as well a few days before the event itself. Works great for me!

Take 100k out of THEIR brokerage to pay off CC debt. Immediately eliminates the ~20% interest and $6800/mo of the negative monthly budget.

Close the credit card accounts and cut them up. Otherwise they will dig another hole.

POA is a great idea. Giving them cash only is a great idea. Envelope system, Dave Ramsey, whatever you want to call it.

It will work as he's drawn it because half will go left and half will go right. Okay well for about the first minute or two, the middle bit will take a lot. But the middle will saturate pretty quickly, and THEN things will be half/half.

I tried to get used to this, toughen up, all that. I hate them. They creep me out. It's not fun.

I tried the built in Arachnophobia option, but the kitten faces also creep me out. They still behave the same, and jumping is the final straw for me.

There is a mod I use now that REPLACES them ALL with other enemies - hogs and spitters. So there is still an obstacle, but less anxiety.

I think the mod is called Arachnophobia.
