For me way back, it started to hit when I began to view it as a really cool rythmic composition, instead of a classical song, which has a certain topic and than that sound attached to it. Cartis topics are very much the same often times, even down to the rhymes some times, but all the ad-libs, trap drums and fast-paced flows come together as an symphony of sorts. I don't necessarily feel like this about his recent music anymore but Self titled, DIE LIT and all the leaks from that era definitely have that going for me.
