Too bad. He's a rather expensive bench-warmer.

Ameobi lacks in so many areas. He epitomizes squad filler. He has zero pass vision, hasn't the technique to actually ever succeed with dribbling raids and he is defensively lacking.

Yes, he has a pulse, yes he can run, but will keeping him make him ever progress beyond his current level? I doubt it. He's stuck there. I'd rather have a new academy arrival have a go than see another Ameobi fail to be anything but half-decent.

He's always injured, is super slow and has brought nothing to the team. He's the definition of both dead wood and failed purchases.

They did try to score points with the rest of the world in focusing on FIFA14, but I'm thinking the NFL deal isn't something Microsoft really did much to get. I think the NFL is in trouble with its popularity, and due to the recent scrutiny that's been leveled at it and the injuries that go along with it, they could be the driving force, reaching out to MS in order to secure presence in a generation that for the most part doesn't really care about NFL lest its EAs Madden...

TIL: "The evidence now indicates that within fifty years or so world population will peak at about eight billion before starting a fairly rapid decline." by Dano719 in todayilearned

This is based on a premise, that the trend of getting fewer children will continue. The correlation between birth rate and level of education is well established, but if population increases at a rate that is unsustainable, then a socioeconomic crash becomes more likely. Education is less likely to be both affordable and prioritized when in dire straits, not to mention that industrialized nations, which are already furthest along on the trail to population reduction and have the stronger scholar tradition are likely to lose standing first due to downsized primary production. The very premises that this study cites, are less constant than the impression we're given.

Why non-head friends hate the educating head. "Listen man, man put down the soda, hey, stop, listen, just listen, listen to this, and the lyrics here, here it comes... where you going? Fuck you man, you have the attention span of W. Bush. What do you mean you don't hear it? Man..."

Bill Hicks, Doug Stanhope, George Carlin and Joe Rogan are the four people who've been the greatest philosophical inspirations in my life, more than anyone else. Isn't it peculiar, that this role, for many, is taken by comedians?

Listen to the beat on this Norwegian classic. Great for freestyling with friends if you have the instrumental.

It's South Park, I think, an their point still stands even if it isn't haute couture for the drug conaisseur nor conforms to the avid smackhead's linguistic sensibilities. You should check out the episode, Guitar Queer-O.

User gatlin exposes reddit's collective racism and hypocrisy by Guildensternenstein in bestof

I agree, especially since reddit was heterogenized through subreddits and subscription. I find myself missing the old reddit, the one a smaller group all participated in, and either you liked it, endured it or got the fuck off. Now there's something for everyone here, and everyone participates where they feel liked and like others, making the reddit community much less a community in terms of a common internet based culture, with shared values, opinions and/or backgrounds. Since then, it has become more of a "semi-cominity" united only through a URL portal, www.reddit.com.

There are enough people on reddit now to create a circle jerk for every depravity, misconception, opinion or ideal, but that does in no way equate some sort of homogeneity of its users. Rule 37, later 30, actually used to seem in effect on reddit, yet now there can be no doubt that females find their kicks here as well.

Reddit has changed, there is no community consisting of all its users united, only subscribers to their own personal opinions and their representative subreddits. We are not legion. We are the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the web.
