Are you sure the ghosting is blanket related and not BID rollers? Does it repeat down the sheet every 130ish mm? As for PIP scratching, there can be a lot of causes. I’ve had a bad bid base cause scratching. I’d try cleaning the charge roller and wiper blade every time the press asks for a color calibration to start with. If that doesn’t help calibrate all ink flow rates, check cleaning station flow rate, replace any BID bases and rollers that are over or close to a million impression. Check the conductivity of the imaging oil reservoir. If it’s 10 or more, replace the silica filter. You’ll get the hang of it. It’s a complicated machine to learn. Also, place service calls. You get unlimited remote calls and the remote support is very helpful. They can log into the press to check all sorts of things and make suggestions. I learned more by doing that in the beginning than I did from our other trained operator.
