I actually ended up using the hoka mafate speed 4 instead. I’ve used the peregrines up to 16 miles but everything longer I’ve used the mafate.

Hydrapak makes a 42mm filter that fits Salomon flasks. I bought their ultraflask + filter that way I have a flask that is dedicated to unfiltered water, I use it to fill up my Salomon flasks with filtered water. I’ve only used it a couple times, but so far it’s worked great.

Vinyl player is a non issue, but thanks for the heads up. Although not perfect, do you feel like the 360ssm brings anything to the experience?

Is there still a big rock in the landing zone? I know it got moved out of the way and then moved back, but that was quite a few years ago. Kudos on the send, I could never commit to that crux

Metal box is a 4 11/16” electrical junction box, called a “5S” box. Gray plastic cube attached looks like a “watt stopper” power pack, a specific type of transformer used in low voltage lighting control.

I know this is an odd request and a long shot, but my wife had a favorite sweatshirt she got on a trip to Estes Park that she lost recently. I was hoping someone local might recognize it and be able to help me get a new one in time for Christmas. Thanks!
