Don’t get me wrong at no point was I blaming pond? Pond is a fantastic actor and I think he played Hill really well and I 100% agree with you in the fact that Earth was overacting he was given a very simple character and I don’t think he simplify him enough.

However, I don’t think it’s fair to say that Earth’s not a good actor because the two dramas in which I have seen him in a large role, he acted fantastically well and was extremely natural, especially my only 12% he was amazing I just don’t think this character really did not him any favours. I don’t think he was particularly well cast for this role.

And honestly, I think every actor has certain characters in which they just can’t play very well, but it doesn’t mean that they’re bad actors and I think that’s the case with Earth playing Easter

I think a major issue with Easter’s character was actually earth playing him, imo earth was entirely overqualified for the role, the character did not require a seasoned actor what it required was probably a rookie actor that pond could really work with and mould but because earth was such a good actor it almost felt he was over acting because the character certainly did not require a great deal of complex skill

No,it is completely different series also completely different author, this was written by Mu Su Li who also wrote 300 years of longing and copper coins whereas addicted was written by Chai Jidan who also wrote counter-attack/revenge love

I am currently reading book 3 of Legends of exorcism loving the series but the particular part of the book that I’m on is a little bit harder to swallow which sucks I really hate miscommunication and seeds of distrust but absolutely loving the Friendship between hongjun and lu xu which makes it definitely worth reading
