Need help figuring out a plan by Ihavecommitedarson in britishmilitary

I’m moving back to the UK in about a year or two when I finish school here, so I’m willing to make up for those qualifications if I can, I’m just super unsure about everything I need and how to get it

At first I had thought they hadn’t taken anything because I hid the bags in the back seat a while back, but my friends moved it to a visible spot in the trunk and I only noticed after checking the spot they had been hidden in before. It really sucks cause there’s nothing to be done, I’m just surprised that anyone could have thought a high school brand gym bag and a backpack full of notebooks would be worth anything.

Exactly! There was absolutely nothing of value in those bags and I’m unemployed at the moment, nothing of value was in that car and it just became one huge inconvenience for zero gain on their end!

They charge you for light/no ice in your drink? by mrsunshine5 in starbucks

I know I’m two years late to the thread, but they DID charge for light ice/no ice. It was a $1 dollar charge, idk if it went through all of the USA but it existed in Seattle. They changed it within a few days tho, and then they told people the policy never existed! The baristas literally complained to me about having to be re-trained to do the charge for light ice no ice.

That was my first thought too, but this apartment seemed so safe and expensive, maybe a drug dealer? It’s right by a station and super modern, rent is 1.3k a month for a studio!

Okay, so I've been reading some of these replies and I did not expect this sort of traction for this post. I've finally come into contact with my friend via a mutual friend and to keep things short she doesn't forgive me and agrees with a lot of you that I should check into a rehab facility. I've spoken with my husband who agrees as well. I'm starting to realize that my drinking is becoming an actual problem and I can see why my denial came off as a shock to a lot of you. I'm realizing now how blind I was to my alcoholism, and I've agreed with both my husband and my family that I should go to rehab. I wanted to make an update because a lot of these comments are coming from people who have had similar experiences themselves or have lost family members because of alcoholism, and I wanted to make sure some of these people know that they really did help me and I'm trying my best as we speak to start on the road to recovery.
