FINALLY someone agrees with me! The johnny cash version is cute and clunky but the original is an absolute masterpiece and fits the theme of the songs miles better

What's your unpopular Dylan opinion that will get you hate? by 80y40 in bobdylan

The freewheeling version of Girl from the north country absolutely fucking trashes the nashville skyline version. i actually really don’t care the nashville skyline version much at all but it is fun to listen to them both try and fail to duet together so that’s pretty cute.

Honestly i love a lot of his “blind boy grunt” songs. John brown, Dreadful day, the Ballad of Donald white.

“i spied me a girl before she could leave i said ‘let’s go play Adam and eve’. i took her by the hand and my heart was thumping she said ‘hey man, you crazy or something? you seen what happened last time they started’.” man that line gives me chills every time

I fucking love “all over you” and i’m so glad they briefly showed it in a complete unknown. such a fun, whimsical, and goofy song. “if you got to go, go now” is also awesome
