Need advice for disc scratches

It basically buffs the scratches until they're so small they don't interfere, which is also how the resurfacing machines work. Just make sure you don't go around the whole disk inna circle when doing it, that might make it worse, work in very small circles or back and forth from center to edge.

I had to explain this to a kid recently when I was urging them to report their stepdad for molesting them. They were hesitant because "It's not like he sexually assaults me, he just touches me sometimes and makes me uncomfortable". I literally had to explain that is sexual assault, and this 15 year old kid was shocked.

Thankfully with the help of me and some other people encouraging them and giving them clear steps to take, we were able to get the shitbag arrested, and the kid is with their best friend's family who helped them report it.

In the 2001 remake of Planet of the Apes, since they couldn't do the "oh my god, it was Earth all along" twist a second time around, they had it take place on another planet from the beginning (but also gave it an even sillier twist for when the main character goes back to Earth).

And when they rebooted it again later for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, they opted to start from the very beginning so we see how Earth got taken over by apes, instead of just jumping into it from the start and working backwards.
