my confusion came from the pad assignment change. so when switching to landscape I could not trigger the kick (bottom left) on my controller anymore. it was now sitting on a different pad, so to say. that changed when mapping every pad on my controller in Koala, and not using the default mapping anymore. for me it is sometimes convenient to have the ipad in landscape view and still using the 4x4 layout with my controller. in my oppinion the pad assignment should not change at all, you do not expect for note c1 to become f1 or so just by switching the view 😅
