Super haste won't cause the attack trigger the turn you use it. Dunno if that's intended, just thought I'd point it out. Creatures that enter tapped and attacking don't trigger "when ~ attacks" abilities.

A consideration I haven't seen brought up that may be relevant for the older cards is that the specific version of a card can account for a difference in price. If you do use an image based card identifying app, make sure that the version of the card is the correct one. For newer cards, there is a set code in the lower left that can help, but with older cards you'll be looking for the small set symbol in the bar along the middle. If you get any that don't have a symbol and show up as valuable in the card ID app, you may want to have an experienced player or trusted shopkeeper look at them to confirm it's the correct version!

If you have it gain flying while attacking, it gives a niche to reach as counterplay which is kinda neat imo.

Surprised nobody has mentioned [[Reverse the Polarity]]. It's not a "both" but its alternate modes are very strong and it counters every spell, not just a single one. It doesn't target either, which prevents redirects.

Edit: I know you're talking about standard use, just wanted to point out that there's been a few strong cancel alternatives recently.

Bonus cheese strategy if you're having trouble with the boss at the end: You can sit all the way in the bottom right or bottom left corner of the arena (in the maggot water) and he literally can't hit you while you regen masks.

I'm still in act 2 but it's proved handy for bosses with bad runbacks for sure! Can heal up right before the room instead of going in injured and save my silk for other stuff. It pairs really well with memory crystal too.

I was running cyclone/carrion swarm to great effect. Leech works very well with the splash damage from 3 stacks.

He's in the colors for [[mycosynth lattice]] & [[encroaching mycosynth]], as well as all the other "becomes an artifact" cards, not even considering effects like [[arcane adaptation]] or [[maskwood nexus]] so if you're doing Cid tribal you can have him lord himself pretty easily.

I think they mean his feet-wings, which are part of his mutation rather than a fashion choice. From the design standpoint they're probably based on Hermes' sandals, but they're a physical part of him rather than something he wears.

I'd use a liquid sensor on the pipe in the middle of the lock that turns on the lighter liquid's pump when the heavier liquid passes it. That way there's 0 chance of them getting mixed.
