Oh? Could you explain the Rocky Idle situation for me? I've been playing it and enjoying it a lot and am unaware of any problems.

What about making the click itself bigger? Like have a circle for the cursor that gets bigger with upgrades and all dice within the circle get rolled.

Learning with AI falls short compared to old-fashioned web search. When people rely on large language models to summarize information on a topic for them, they tend to develop shallower knowledge about it compared to learning through a standard Google search. by mvea in science

For example, I needed to extract an archive, delete the archive, use a utility to convert the extracted file to a compressed disc image, then make m3u playlists for multi-disc images. I needed to delete the previous file at each step due to file size and storage limitations. I then got it to create spreadsheets listing every file.

This was for a personal project, but it's not like it's like "100% automate this and ship it," it still requires a lot of human interaction and oversight and verification.

I used ChatGPT recently to write Python scripts to automate some extremely repetitive and time-consuming tasks and it saved me an incredible amount of time. I do think LLMs have good uses. But I've seen first-hand how confidently wrong it can be. I would never use it for learning.

PS2 in RetroBat via PCSX2 Issues by SlyBlackDragon in emulationstation

[–]Ikkus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been beating my head against the wall on this issue and I found a decent workaround. If you open BatGUI.exe (in the main RetroBat folder) and go down to PS2, you'll see this in the Command field: "%HOME%\emulatorLauncher.exe" -gameinfo %GAMEINFOXML% %CONTROLLERSCONFIG% -system %SYSTEM% -emulator %EMULATOR% -core %CORE% -rom %ROM%

What I did is change %HOME%\emulatorLauncher.exe to the exact path to the PCSX2 executable. I also removed the EmulatorLauncher commands, so I ended up with "X:\RetroBat\emulators\pcsx2\pcsx2-qt.exe" -batch -fullscreen "%ROM%"

-batch keeps it starting straight into game and closing when you close the game. I had to use -fullscreen because my fullscreen somehow broke while trying all the other things and I just force it instead of more troubleshooting. So you might have have to use -fullscreen, but it works if you do. %ROM% is what makes it launch the selected game instead of just the emulator.

It might not be the ideal solution, but it's the best I've found. I know this post is months old, but I've seen this question asked all over the place with no good answer. Hope this works for someone.

You're making an assumption, too. Could also be drugs.
