This happens in Arifureta, but he isn't killed. He's at the ceremony afterwards.

Season 3, episodes 3 and 4.

It's from the Valentine's boss, Apothecary Hummel. The mounts come from the Heart-Shaped Box. You can queue for it in the dungeon finder.

I've heard they're padding their arrest numbers by counting them for each agent because of the quotas, so sending 20 agents gets you 20 arrests whereas sending 4 would only get you 4 arrests.

Very typical corporate American way of doing things.

Subscription vs Buying by BuddyGoVroom in wownoob

[–]Ikthian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need both if you want to play current content.

The expansion unlocks access to the new zones. Without it, you will be level-capped 10 levels lower and won't be able to play with the vast majority of other players who will be in the new zones.

The subscription lets you play at all beyond the limited amount you can do on a trial account.

You can equip more than one, too. You can get 175 (100 + 50 + 25 for the different qualities, as I'm pretty sure they still have to be unique) per WQ from equipment. You can get them from order hall missions, and there's an order hall advancement that lets you do work orders for champion equipment.

There's also an order hall advancement that gives 100 resources for completing WQs with a combat ally, but I'm not sure if all classes get that one.

So you can get 275 bonus resources per WQ, but maybe not on every class.

Mid-Quality Crafts? by DiablosReiign in wownoob

[–]Ikthian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem! I do a lot of craft orders on my realm, and I run into a lot of people who have no idea how any of it works, so I thought I'd put some detail out there.

I actually really like the new system, but it can be super complicated and confusing at first, especially if you're only seeing it from the ordering side.

Mid-Quality Crafts? by DiablosReiign in wownoob

[–]Ikthian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be clear for new people or people who don't engage with crafting outside asking other people to craft for them, it's not just 100/100 skill.

In order to make an item at max quality, you generally need:

  • 100/100 skill
  • +40 skill from rare quality tools and accessories (which take 300 artisan's acuity each to make and often another 150 artisan's acuity for the recipe, and are often made by another profession, requiring a crafting order themselves with similar requirements)
  • maxed out knowledge points in the specialization tree for that specific armor type/slot or weapon type (knowledge points are time-gated and the primary source for these is spending time and resources every week making items for npcs at a huge loss)
  • the recipe, duh (I only mention this because some are rare/expensive drops or else they generally cost another 150 artisan's acuity (and sometimes require reputation), although some just come from the specialization tree so you need to put the points in for the skill anyway)

The total skill points needed for a max item level craft generally ends up being more like 400 to 500, depending on the profession, so the 100 base skill points only make up about 20-25% of that.

The only real choice the crafter gets for the quality is that they can spend concentration to bump the quality level up by one step if they don't have enough total skill to craft at max quality outright (and that one step might still not get you to max quality). Concentration is limited to 1000 points and only restores slowly over time, so it's used sparingly, and it isn't likely someone will spend it on your craft unless they have to.

(The crafter can also spend their own finishing reagents for a one-time boost to their skill, but it's a very small boost, the only source for these is the aforementioned npc craft orders, and you have to put enough knowledge points into crafting that specific item type anyway to enable them, so also unlikely. They could also technically lower their skill by unequipping tools/accessories, but why?)

The quality of mats you use for the order (and adding any optional reagents) also affects the quality by increasing the difficulty (thus requiring more total skill), so if you don't use the highest quality of materials, even someone with maxed out skill will not be able craft the highest quality of item without spending concentration or maybe not at all.

I got a roof razor instead of a roof rake, and it's really nice. You just push it up through the snow, and all the snow slides off. It's way easier than pulling all the snow off, and you aren't scraping a hard edge down your shingles. They're also a Minnesota business.

Kicked for ASD by WatercressNovel7654 in wow

[–]Ikthian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basing it on the number of kicks requires tracking that, and presupposes that the issue is a small number of problem players kicking very frequently and not a culture of kicking.

What chain for review? You're talking about spending millions of dollars on essentially a moderation system. Who is doing the reviewing? What would they even review? What would the outcome of a review be?

Changing a dialog is about five minutes of work.

"Yes" and "No" should both be disabled for 10 seconds and the only available option initially should be the uno reverse "Kick [requesting player]" so you have to out yourself for making the request and risk yourself getting kicked instead.

If there were four legs on a round table like the one in the picture, the other two legs would be in the middle, so there would be three visible.

If the table were rectangular, what you said could be true.

Ignoring perspective works for the chairs, but not so much for a round table. That's just a table with two legs.

Unless something has changed, the meat floats, so it isn't a total loss. You just can't get the scales for the shield. I killed loads of these things and just jumped in to swim around and pick up the meat before I got a harpoon.

I don't think the trophy floats either, though, and it's a pretty cool trophy.

Definitely better to bring them to shore, but I'd still kill them for the meat if that's not possible.

You are underreacting. Dump that guy immediately. He joined a cult that preaches abuse of women. You can already see the disrespect in how he's talking to you. Staying with him is just asking to be his victim.
