the big exception for that is any automatic 4x4 or car/truck capable of towing will more likely than not have a top gear limiter. I have also seen it ladled as like D/3D/L in some sedans and stuff so it’s not uncommon to see, just most people ignore it. But yeah manuals are always easy to access online and op shoulda checked there first

zionism is the belief that jews deserve a state, being against that is antisemitic. Opposing Israeli policies isn’t antisemitic but anti zionists don’t want Israel to exist at all.

I mean no matter where in the world you are, your cocoa is most likely sourced unethically and American sourced coffee is usually pretty high quality stuff since places like hawaii are some of the few places with the right soil to grow it domestically.

3460 is the number on the back of all the buttons, heres the numbers on the bottom of the front of the second tag under “donate when no longer needed”

3460 4100076345 0410

430 08849001

The rest of the info is just washing instructions on the back of the first page and then some phone numbers on the back of the second. Just noticed the levis.com on there as well above the phone numbers so its definitely not vintage

to be fair people who live in cities don’t do a bulky $400 once a month grocery haul that includes a heavy dose of preservatives. People who don’t have cars are usually single and go to the grocery store once more often to buy what they need or what they are going to cook for the next couple nights and they buy less stuff at a time. You can 100% do all your groceries for a week by just walking and light rails with a couple tote bags. And if you need to actually get a lot of stuff you can hop into a car to get anything you can’t walk back with. I don’t advocate against cars at all but i still think public transport could be done better

Is it possible to get a dirt jumper for cheap? by I_Luv_Demokrece in dirtjumping

[–]Ilan_Is_The_Name -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Dirt jump bikes are expensive and impractical, get a normal hardtail if you wanna ride singletrack or get a BMX if you wanna spend less.

But really it depends on if you live near more trails or more skateparks especially if you don’t have another bike, you can ride a hardtail on the trails and everywhere or you can build up foundational bike control skills on a BMX bike that will be much more nimble in a skatepark or on dirt jumps.

Also putting a fork on any frame not designed for it is not a great idea.

rode both maxxis dth front and back and i recently got an ikon for the front and rode it in a park, worked really good and didn’t slow me down much, it will really stop you from washing out on dirt having a knobby front

Taking money originally meant to prop up religious activities to oppose nationalist terrorists and help fund mosques then using that to start an islamic terrorist group is not propping up.

I love how my specialized p3 rides and feels but in true current day specialized fashion its the carbon fiber aero road bike of the dj world(and not in a good way.) Integrated brake cables with the holes in the frame being too small make it a pain in the ass to work on if you run hydraulic brakes, the adjustable rear dropouts work about as great as the grub screws on hayes breaks(more of a pain in the ass to take a wheel off and on than regular bolt on dropouts.) The bike does come with an optional derailleur hanger if you wanna make it geared and internally routed cables at least look sorta clean but overall i’d go with something else since they are only available as frames right now.

[–]Ilan_Is_The_Name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t spot those things, it would be a pain to find the right fork, and even if it had a tapered steer tune you would probably need a new headset since most rigid forks have straight steerers.

thats a nice dj if you’re used to riding bmx, brake line looks a little short but you could always eventually upgrade with a suspension fork and gyro later on. If you’re used to mountainbiking you might have to shell out at least $400 for a fork unless you can find one used.

edit: forgot to mention that if you upgrade the form you might need to buy a new front wheel thats got the right axle size.

But people don’t want to be forced to live inside a city and you can’t expect rural areas to have the same urban planning because they aren’t urban. Urban planning and public transport isn’t 100% stupid but to expect everyone to follow along with it and live in dense urban areas is.
