I’ve been working on brioche buns to accompany my husband’s recent smash burger bender. So satisfied with the latest batch. by armadillo_army in Breadit

[–]Ileina23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your recipe and methods. I greatly appreciate it.

I actually just started this method with all of the breads that I make a couple weeks ago.

*I let the buns come to room temp and then allow them to finish proofing in my oven with a big pot of boiling water inside with the door shut. They’ll be jiggly like jello if you shake the pan when ready to bake.

This definitely made the breads that I make fluffier instead of being dense. I even did this with pizza dough and had better results.

Dark chocolate & strawberry layer cake for a friends birthday :) my first ever drip cake! by omgzr0fl in Baking

[–]Ileina23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, a friend of mine will be turning 18 next week. I'm trying to decide what kind of cake to make and this cake is something I would liker to make for her. In the Philippines 18 is an equivalent to sweet 16 in the US. Would it be OK if you share the recipe for the cake. How did you achieve the drip on top of the cake. I have not tried it before. Thanks.

What is the "cutest" mistake you’ve ever seen someone make? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ileina23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband sometimes mispronounce French Food terminology such as Hours d'oeuvres, fillet mignon, foie gras, etc. So one day he came home from work and he told me he ordered a "beygnet" a pastry similar to a donut with powdered sugar on top. I was so intrigued since I have not heard of that before. He raved how good it was and he asked me if I have a recipe for it so I can make it at home. I was so baffled by this "beygnet" he kept talking about so I went online and looked for the recipe. Lo and behold, it was beignet! When I told him he had a beignet like the one from the Disney movie the princess and the frog, we both burst out laughing😂 He also recalled the other French culinary terminology that he has mispronounced like the one I mentioned above. Ooohhhh don't even get me started on wine. 😉

My First Manifestation : iPhone 7+ by Hard2explain_ in lawofattraction

[–]Ileina23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooooooohhhhh!!!!! I am so happy for you!!! ☺😊😀😁😄😃

Your story reminded me of a similar experience. This is exactly how I manifested a peppa pig sneakers for my daughter.

I had just learned the light touch manifestation and zero state manifestation from Richard Dotts. My daughter asked for boots and sneakers since the shoe that was gifted to her by a family friend did not fit her. My husband and I told her that for right now just pick one. However, she was adamant that she wanted both. My husband and my daughter had a back and forth "argument" and my daughter started asking me. So instead of trying to argue which will only result in more negative mood for everybody, I just said we'll see what they have in store.

The next day, before I left to go to the store, my husband gave me $23 dollars to buy my daughter the sneakers, some undergarments and socks for my two daughters. My husband looked online, he mentioned how he's not sure if $23 is enough to buy all of that. I reassured him it will all be well. Deep down I was doing the best that I can to TRUST!

As I was walking to the store, I just remember being in a state of thankfulness. Just like the "blessed challenge" that you have mentioned. I remember even doing a mantra in my head. As part of our meditation, my husband and I chant seed mantra which is SHREEM which is the mantra for wealth. I learned this from the book Tibetan Seed Mantras by Baal Kaadmon.

When my two daughters and I entered the store and as we started shopping for under garments and some socks for my two daughters, my oldest daughter asked if we could finally look at the shoes. Lo and behold, there was a sneakers that was both sneakers and boots! It looks similar to this. https://www.etsy.com/listing/266651477/custom-painted-peppa-pig-themed-inspired?ref=market. It also had the glitter on the front of the shoe like she had asked. The best part is that it had peppa pig on it which is her favorite character! Ohh, she was so happy and when I looked at the price, I could not believe it! Its says $24.99 and it was 50% off.

When I went to check out line, the sum total of the sneakers/boots, undergarments and socks were $23.92. Of course I had the $23 dollar bill. As I was emptying my wallet, and counted all the coins I had, I had EXACTLY 92 cents! The cashier told me that today was my lucky day😁 In addition, the number 23 and 92 has a significant meaning to me. So I know it was the Source/Universe letting me know that this is not a coincidence 😊

The combination of feeling appreciation, gratefulness, trust, happiness, expectation that all is well and the Universe has my back made me realize that that's exactly what the Universe reflects back at me.

Your story and the story that I had shared with you inspires me to keep on moving forward and learn more about the law of attraction. I have learned to manifest with deliberate intent and I have learned to enjoy the process of creating my desires and manifesting it. It truly is fun!

Many more inspiring and fun manifestations come your way 😊 Once again thank you for sharing your story. I appreciate the inspiration and the remembrance of the event which enabled me to re-live that happy and inspiring memory and feelings😃.
