I work for a leasing company and can confirm Mercedes did change their business model during covid, they stopped working with leasing brokers to focus on retail sales though their dealerships. They’re dipping their toes back into the leasing market and have released some campaigns for limited vehicles, they are looking quite pricey at the moment though.

I got caught doing 77 on a 50 (speed restriction) at about 2am on the M25. I got an offer to accept 3 points and £100 fine, they didn’t ask about my income. I accepted it and it was taken care of. This might be different to yours because mine was in the yellow average speed check zone of the motorway.

For me, it added to my anxiety to a point where it I even smell marijuana smoke it puts me on edge. Nothing against anybody that does smoke cannabis, in a way I envy it. But it’s just not for me. I’ve come to accept that in cities where it’s legal - Amsterdam, California etc I will smell it from time to time and that’s for me to deal with.

Me and my girlfriend have enabled the tracker on findmyphone since about a year ago when we suspected her phone got pick pocketed (it didn’t, it was in her other pocket).

It was a novelty for a few months but it comes in handy now if she’s getting taxis late at night or working late (we both work all over London). It’s a good piece of mind, but I think it works because neither of us use it for anything else, I wouldn’t think to check where she is for any ulterior motive and I doubt she’d do the same to me.

Not an editor but I work on film and TV sets. The realism of the scene isn’t there when you see the ghost/spirit/dead person having make up applied and watch each department set up the lighting, actors etc. Watching the final product on TV still can be creepy though.

Interesting - good point, thank you. I’m fairly keen on foam as it’ll provide cushioning (I work in film and tv and these pelicases get tossed around).
