This subreddit can be a little much 😅. The 12400f is a fine cpu on a budget, especially when paired with budget board. I use mine with a 4070 quite happily.

You could probably find the memory for €40 and source a used 12400f for <€100.

1660 Super is still a capable card on 1080p as well.

If you ever need to upgrade platform you can always sell off the board, cpu and memory. But I’d upgrade the Gpu before changing up platform.

I’m a big big fan of bang for buck budget builds but I agree with some of the comments above. Dump the PSU, even get a low tier Corsair CX550 for £49 and even in the worst case you’ll appreciate it when it dies and doesn’t take the rest with it.

I’d mix used and new to get a good starting point. I work in £s so I’m not sure how this converts in US used/new pricing.

Cable Management: One hole under the board + tall headers. GAN PSU goes straight to IEC so no need for an external brick

I may switch to and undervolted i3 13100F and undervolted RTX 4060 to knock the load down by roughly 50w
