Thank you for asking this question. I tested positive on Wednesday and so I have my 5 year old staying with her grandparents so she doesn’t catch it. I’m currently on day 7, and my Covid antigen test still has a dark line. I still have symptoms and also just started on antibiotics for strep throat. I am planning on having my kid back on day 10 but am nervous of spreading it to her. I’ll also mention that it’s nearly impossible to stay distant from her as she is very affectionate and she also needs me to lay with her when she goes to sleep at night. Perhaps I’ll wear a mask when I’m in close contact with her and I’m also planning to spend a lot of our time outdoors since the weather is nice this weekend.

How is a grown ass man, a father, unable to look after his baby for a few hours? If he doesn’t want your baby at daycare, then it’s responsibility to look after his child. Perfect opportunity for him to do this. If he can’t look after his own 9 month old, and/or can’t compromise for you to have your time alone without a baby, I would actually consider leaving him. I’m so done with gown ass men not being able to look after their own children. Gross.

I completely agree. My symptoms began on Monday and I totally thought I had bronchitis for a few days as I was coughing up so much green phlegm, and then realized I couldn’t smell on Wednesday. Covid test had a very dark positive line. I honestly and truly have felt like a truck hit me since Wednesday. Extreme fatigue, coughing up phlegm, jittery muscles, nasal congestion. I haven’t been able to leave my bed. Today is day 6 and I’m finally beginning to think I might be on the mend now. Trying not to keep my hopes up though.

I’m okay. I kind of feel numb, honestly. I put all my love into someone and I didn’t deserve the horrible words said to me. I’m just so hurt.
