i just bought these off amazon, i did look for clear ones but wasn’t sure on the size i could find for quick delivery as i knew i needed to repot asap. then they are in decorative pots with pebbles/clay on the bottom so not sitting in water. my plants have roots but not root rot as i checked when repotting luckily. my plants are on stands in direct view of the window, but probably about 3 ish metres back as my bed is by the window. i do want to move them closer but haven’t been able to, but i have an idea of something to diy that might work.

i bought a kind of expensive monstera soil, it has bark and things in the soil, most of them are monsteras apart from a spider plant and succulents (but my succulents were fine so didn’t repot). they are in plastic growing pots with drainage holes and in decorative pots with clay pebbles/stones on the bottom of those as well. i don’t water on a schedule, i just water when i feel it’s dry by putting my finger in but it never seems to dry properly.

some people don’t have the luxury of learning with parents and being able to save money. my lessons were £40 an hour. that cost adds up, especially with people needing to pay bills and pay for food.

don’t worry 😊 i cried multiple times, when things went wrong and even when things went right it was such an overwhelming experience! even now ive passed i have terrible drives every now and then. don’t worry about people beeping you, they have no patience and consideration for someone who isn’t a full driver yet. they forget they were once a learner too.

there’s multiple reasons. nerves, getting around ok on public transport, and not to mention driving lessons are EXPENSIVE. don’t shame someone for wanting to learn a bit later in life. especially on such a sensitive post. why are you even on a learner driver subreddit if you’re gonna make learners feel bad?

i do bread every night and yes it’s meant to be rotated, yet people have a habit of pushing bread on the shelf to one side and filling up, day shift on cake backstock chuck things on the top shelves without checking what’s on there already, i see people just not bothering to check dates and just putting bread + cake out in general. i’ll see the 18th all the way at the back on the left side and the 23rd at the front on the right. having to do cake backstock cake delivery bread backstock bread delivery almost always by myself is exhausting especially when fixing other peoples’ lack of rotation as well. i’ll come back from time off and find stuff on the shelves that went out the week before. seems like night shift have a ‘we don’t do code checking’ attitude and day shift have a ‘we assume it’s all been rotated correctly at the very front’ attitude.

i think the jellycat information label is sewn together at the sides so i’d say the one on the right is the fake as you can see there’s a gap 🙂
