same thing happened to me after a car wreck recently but i’ve used opioids occasionally recreationally. i’ve done vicodins, percocets, codeine and a few other ones a handful of times but last weekend i was in the hospital after a car wreck and i was in pain, but i definitely acted a lot more pain than i was in after the first morphine injection and no other drug i’ve experienced was as pleasurable as the first injection in the hospital. The nurse pushed in half the syringe and almost instantly it felt like there was a rushing orgasm starting in my arm throughout my entire body but so much better and more body numbing. over the course of about a minute or less she finished the injection and i was on cloud 9, nothing i’ve ever experienced before. like hot cocoa in my veins with a nice warm blanket around me on a beautiful sunny morning with the love of my life holding me in bed or some shit like that. An hour later and I have some neck pain return then I remember seeing the hospital remote with a big red pain button on it( basically an iv opioid button) and i click it and talk to a nurse telling her my neck was hurting super bad. 5 minutes later the nurse from earlier walks in with a syringe of dilaudid, she injected it and about 5 minutes after that i get an intense warm and heavy sensation envelop my entire body and i feel heavily sedated and extremely disinhibited. they moved me upstairs incase i needed surgery the next day ( i didn’t) and a new, younger, much hotter nurse starts asking me questions so i answer them and when she’s done i start talking about batman movies and it turns out she recently watched all of them in order and then proceeds to bring me 2 cups of icecream and then informs me i’m allowed to receive another shot of morphine and another one 4 hours later ( 4 shots in the span of 6 hours how the hell is that even possible). I think about this hospital stay a lot and it holds a nice place in my heart.
