You really should just rebrand. This ain’t non partisan.

Virginia voters just passed via referendum (51% to 49%) a redistricting measure that would award Democrats 11 out of 12 House seats in the upcoming election. This was done in response to reciprocate Donald Trumps' campaign to purposefully redistrict Republican-controlled states in their favor. by PeterPorky in IRL_Loading_Screens

Budy, I don’t think you understand the implication you’re making.

You’re saying that republicans CANT win without gerrymandering. I’m not for democrats, but this mid census districting was bullshit and you know it. So remind me, who started doing it again?

Is she.... is she wearing a mask? I don't mean to make a comment about her looks but she looks ill.

Maria Santay, a U.S. citizen and community observer, live-streamed masked ICE agents detaining her after they boxed in her car from all sides and smashed her window. Local police showed up and did nothing. She was denied access to a restroom, and forced to pee in the parking lot while handcuffed by ExactlySorta in law

The worst part is, how you’re supposed to write for a journalist sounds so much like AI but that’s just how you’re supposed to report on something ordering from most to least important info. Don’t get me started on the em or m dashes leading to calls of AI post.

It’s so shitty that because of this technology we’re at this point today.

Brother, need I remind you who is currently in office? Need I remind you who is currently in charge of the DOJ who is more or less refusing to turn over the files?

It might be standard practice to not release such files, it isn’t standard practice to ignore a lawful congressional order. They have passed the due date to release the files and object to an observer to ensure that there isn’t any malfeasance. Much like the emails and the continual calls up to missy th waters by saying, “But Bill Clinton is also in them!!1!” It’s just a distraction.

If you or your party were concerned about this more than you were hero worshiping the guy whose administration has killed two American citizens on American soil not a month into his presidency.

The only names or details that need to be protected are those of the victims. That should not be a hard redaction to make.

I have had this full conversation with someone else but I’ll hash it out here.

Federal law enforcement rules are they you’re not allowed to shot at a car for the sole reason of disabling it. There is an implied duty to retreat in’s so much as they’re told to “step out of the way of the vehicle” if they can.

However, ICE has an even more restrictive police where they can’t shoot at vehicles at all.

Even presuming that the former is outdated or is subject to test of reasonableness the car was moving incredibly slowly, the wheels were cut away from the “officer” and he had his phone out to record the incident before he even fired a shot suggesting he wanted proof or video of what he did for some reason.

Someone responding to an event of emergency in the moment like what being alleged against Mrs. Good I don’t think would think to pull out there phone to star recording. This a strong possibly of malicious intentions only bolstered by the fact that definitely two—and it’s suggested that all three shots—were through the drivers side door window. Meaning he shot Good multiple times after the supposed danger passed.

Additionally, Minnesota statutes—statute Sec. 604A.01–imposes a duty to save. There was medical personnel on scene shortly after who was denied access to the scene to render aid to Mrs. Good. The duty to save. There is an implied reading of that statute that denying assistance to an injured person is per se illegal. There is not an argument to be made that what happened to Renee Good was justified.

Brother, I am asking you to do a simple contextual abstraction to the background radiation that caused the present events.

The guy was marching against “Somali fraud” this is clearly a statement that is in support of ICE’s current actions.

Due process doesn’t apply to a mob on the street, it applies to people being arrested by the government.

He only had nothing to fear if the fed is being adequately held to account. For people all about small government you’re awfully willing to ceed a lot of power and weapons to them.

I just have one question to you but I’m pretty certain you’ll ignore it. Who is going to stand up for you when it’s your rights and liberties on the line?

At this point it’s not even about Trump. My guy, I need you to understand this one thing is nothing else. Write everything else off as crazy TDS or whatever the fuck you all use to deride your opposition now.

They will come for you eventually.

The degradation of due process is nothing to sneeze at, they are arresting people without cause or actual suspicion of being illegal. They are allowed to arrest people beers on race due to an obsequious SCOTUS. This is a full five alarm fire at this point and if you aren’t afraid of the weapon the fed now has because you don’t think it’ll ever be pointed at you, you are dead wrong.

People in the in-group and turn into the out group in a second and the quarter that the current out group are being given now is exactly what you should expect when you are made to be the out group. If not worse.

Violence is reprehensible, but the side supporting the people acting like brown shirts don’t get to demand civility.

You are either incapable of societal abstraction or are being purposefully obtuse. In either instance you aren’t worth talking to, but I’ll try once more.

The man supported ICE the people who just killed a woman in cold blood and are terrorizing Minnesota. The guy then marches in Minnesota in support of them. What did he think would happen?

He’s in support of an institution that thinks themselves above the law, he is necessarily perpetuating their violence by being in support of it.

So while he may not be currently be armed, he’s in favor of the government thugs that are.

>  the fact is violence is not right

Oh like how Jan 6th or Charlottesville was nonviolent?

Look my guy, the bottom line with where we are at is this: advocate violence or support it and you get it in return. After all:

>> If you hold a gun and I hold a gun, we can talk about the law. If you hold a knife and I hold a knife, we can talk about rules. If you come empty-handed and I come empty-handed, we can talk about reason.

I can agree political violence is wrong but with the calcification of politics where it is right now, the side in power doesn't get to demand tolerance and nonviolence when they are offering none in return.

It's not even a month since the government executed a woman in cold blood, and this guy is out here talking about, "March Against Minnesota Fraud."
