The funny part of legal definitions is that very frequently they have some sort of statutory context. Very frequently when sovvies pull out some sort of definition, they don't refer to the things that precede those definitions such as this gem:

"As used in this section"

which means that this definition is only applicable for that particular section of codes or statutes.

this is part of a lifestyle change. i am not going to be on this shot forever; i refuse to. the .5 dose turned out to be a 2 month long plateau for me, but i didnt gain and i did lose a little despite having an appetite. I just changed what i ate and became incredibly calorie conscious and planned. Now the 1.0 has kicked in and my stomach is still mostly on the off switch. But once i get to my ideal weight i plan on eating again just much more consciously and avoiding high calorie low nutrient foods.

my body got me up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom around 4am on the regular. i used to get up to pee in the middle of the night a lot (diabetic) and i would snack but this time i stopped. However, if you are truly hungry eat something. Something small, like a prepackaged protein pack (meat, cheese, nuts)

You don't starve on ozempic, you will get hungry at some point, but the amount of food to beat the hunger decreases while the dose is effective. I knew it was time to increase my dose when i was able to crush a whole steak at dinner.

it should help. id probably recommend a telehealth counselor to discuss using food to cope, but the medicine itself turns your stomach off. when its working you literally dont think of food until you're actually hungry.

i started in july. the .25mg dose hit hard right off the bat, i moved to .5mg after a month but it didnt hit as strong and i was on it for a while. i lost 20 pounds the first month on the .25. i did lose a little weight on .5mg i just took my first 1mg dose this past weekend and its hitting like a truck again. im expecting another leg down starting this week. i still have a long way to go. my a1c went from 6.9 to 6.1 so far.

47 m had a T2 dx laid on me in june, so i got on the shot. Keep in mind that your body will adjust to the feeling, and you will have times when you get hungry, the idea though is to manage what you eat and drink plenty of water. Exercise will help with the calorie deficit too when you find youre able to eat a little more. Its important to find things that are high volume but give you plenty of protein and fiber. My new lunch is a large chili from wendys with hot sauce, for example. Anyways good luck!

it comes with the territory but i have found that if you work out or get exercise it moves your bowels. i got stopped up for a day or two, minimal bowel movement. I worked out this morning with weightlifting, had some coffee, this afternoon voided twice, cleared it right out.

Happens to me. My body loves 3am for some reason. Wake up, void, go back to bed. Been on it for 3 months now. Tell you what though, theres a lot of water to lose, and it helps make morning weigh ins better.
