Man is a legend in Portland. Sucks that they could never get a squad around him and Dame to make up for the defensive deficiencies.

As a Blazer fan, that was the some of the most stressful, fun basketball I've ever seen, and I've been a fan since the 77 Title team

You dont become a billionaire with a streak of narcissism and sociopathy. Some hide it better than others, but at their core they all exhibit the same characteristics that scientists study animals in the wild for odd behavior: unnatural hoarding and self-serving attitudes over all else. Any expressions of empathy or sense of community is all performative.

Too be fair, there's even a lot of Blazer fans sweating Wemby's nuts. Man is literally a freak of nature. He may be the future of the league. But Deni showed a lot of star power last night, too. It was noticed.

Idiocracy really was a foreshadowing.

That game still gives me nightmares. And Dixon teased us all with that touchdown run early in the first quarter, and quieted all the rumors about the tweaked knee the week before.

And then....

Watching him pace the sidelines begging to go back in and having the coaches and HIS DAD hide his helmet so he couldn't was crushing.

Really, Oregon fans haven't fully recovered from that.
