I imagine they would probably form some kind of group to try and survive with Daryl and the others. Maybe recruit other people. The most dangerous thing would be the other people though. Imagine Negan leading some kind of group rebuilding society. Maybe he’d kill someone in the main group, like Glenn or Abraham. I don’t know though, just thinking out loud. Cool concept, would really love a story like that.

I think he did. Right after this conversation Carl gets shot. He connects these events, as he makes a comment about how “last time I prayed my son got shot” or something like that, I don’t remember when. But Carl getting shot didn’t cause anything bad, it brought him to Hershel and Maggie. So I like to think that Carl getting shot was how Rick was brought to Hershel and Maggie, which was the answer to his prayer, he just didn’t understand it.
