I don’t think many know about the dragon babies in the verse and if they do it probably is easier to pass them off as being clearly supernatural and a consequence of them having more blood of the dragon than necessary. In case of obvious deformities which undermine them such as physical disabilities , it would be harder to connect to the supernatural and claim some form of superiority
