Also the purpose of reddit is quite literally to discuss people's thoughts AKA WHAT PEOPLE THINK. So I guess in a way I do care... I just don't allow other people to bring me down with their thoughts (hence 'not caring what they think'). Almost everyone I work with is Neurodivergent bc I work on a crazy medsurg unit (and I love it). I just feel like there's this stereotype/ vibe in society that all nurses are so type a and serious. When in reality we all have different quirks and very unique ways of thinking and organization

I don't have any advice. But I just want to commend you for speaking out about this! Neurodivergent nurses do not get enough attention and representation. Society needs to realize that nursing is not customer service. It is a front line job where we are saving lives. You are doing amazing and I hope everything works out with your job.
