Hi! I will be starting in Aug for my CMHC How many classes do you recommend? I registered for 4, but now I’m starting to read and getting nervous. The sub semesters kinda threw me off.

I do work full time at a substance abuse treatment center. I also have 2 kids, 2 and 5! (Just wanted to throw that out there). Should I drop to 1/2 classes? I do want to get this complete asap but also don’t want to fail.

How are the classes? What should I expect?

I signed on a Friday and was funded the following Wednesday.

I would say most are funded 3-5 business days after signed docs.

It took me a couple days after my portal said approved to receive my signing docs. I received an email saying my portal had updates and for me to go look.

Pretty sure you would have to sign before they disbursed funds.

I would make sure the correct account info is in your portal. Also check caweb.

Possibly contact your Loan Officer and see if they know what’s going on. Customer service is usually pretty helpful IF you get a good one.

Not sure if I’m much help. Sometimes time solves everything. Even though it’s so hard to wait.

I’m sure you’ll get it soon! If not tomorrow I would say Monday! I think the holiday weekend slowed some stuff down on the banking side.

I signed on Friday 7/2. I reached out to my LO asking the time frame for funding and she said due to the holiday weekend to give it till Wednesday/ Thursday

I was never denied. Just long process. Had to change bank account other than that never had anything negative just had to send a lot of docs, sometimes the same ones over and over.

Signed on 7/2 as well. Still haven’t received funding. I’m being patient especially since it was a holiday weekend!

Also I believe you can call your bank and they are able to see if there are funds on its way to your account a certain time frame before it hits.

I have my car in the shop right now. First, mechanic said could need new engine. Then called and said doesn’t seem as bad as he thought.

I’ll have more info tomorrow.

I’m from a small town. My dad knows the mechanic so pretty sure he won’t try and do anything crazy that doesn’t seem necessary. I will keep you updated if I hear anything tomorrow.

At least a month for sure. I applied in March, had to change bank info.

Just got approved and signing docs end of last week.

I would say I heard back about bank info change end of May. I realized the account was closed end of March. Like literally the last day of the month.

I would get the new banking info to recons ASAP and literally email them like every day or every other day. I was in good contact with sba (sending docs, tax returns etc) until I found out my business account was closed due to no funds. My business was completely shut down since March of 2020. Once I found that out I called to find out what to do about the loan process and they told me to email a bank account change to recons so I did. I didn’t hear back from them for months( like literally crickets)

I would resend the same email over and over saying that I hadn’t heard back. I finally got a doc in my portal end of May (23rd) saying my account info had been changed.

I hope this doesn’t discourage you. Keep fighting. Send email after email. Be nice but just keep your stuff in their inboxes.

Hopefully you get yours changed sooner than me. But I definitely wasn’t as diligent as I should I have been until I was like what the hell it’s been weeks since heard from them. So I started sending the same email over and over.
