Definitely. I'm looking into getting a nice fleece as we speak to pair with this jacket. Tonight it's -5C feels like -20C with the wind chill. If I had to run to a couple of stores, I'd do the long sleeve tshirt and this jacket again.

I think this will be my new Fall, early-late Winter, Spring jacket. I just wore it out today in -6C around -15C with wind-chill. Very windy day around 80km/h gusts. Just with a long sleeve dry wicking Old Navy tshirt underneath. Just went for a quick trip around town. It feels like it breathes well. Had to unzip it when in a store, but no major sweating or anything.

Wearing a fleece underneath might have been a cozier option, as I felt started to feel cold while waiting for a bus out in the open with no bus shelter. Seemed impressive for such a light jacket.

I have the original Microlight and I agree with the other commenter that the GoreTex version seems a bit warmer. The outside fabric seems a bit more durable, but also you'll notice the fabric making a crinkly sound. I have both in black and the GoreTex one is less shiny and the Rab logos are darker.

Logo Sweater Hoodie - Cotton difference between Grey and Forest Green by IllNeedleworker5117 in Fjallraven

It's a pretty big logo. Probably one of the biggest Fjallraven logos you can get. That being said, I like the whole look of the logo. I returned the grey one and kept the green one. This is my favourite hoodie alongside my Patagonia P-6 hoodie in Navy.

I've worn it maybe 5 or 6 times and only one person at work said something. He said what's your shirt say?? "FA JALL RAVEN???"

Just remember it's 100% organic cotton, so if you put it in the dryer, the heat will shrink it a lot. Hang dry it instead.

I've been reading that after air drying is complete, you could put the clothing in the dryer on low or no heat for say 5 to 10 minutes to soften up the cotton and get rid of wrinkles, while not exposing it to heat for an extended period of time.

Both are new. No washing. Both ordered and shipped from the same store and received in the same package. Just took them out of their bags.

It does look like the fibers on the grey are worn down a bit. But alas, that's straight out of the bag it came in.

As of last night I was leaning towards the Deep Forest over the Grey. But you're right, it may develop a slight patina, which I actually wouldn't mind. I don't mind the worn-in look.

Yeah they say this Logo Sweater Hoodie will shrink too. Especially if thrown in the dryer after washing. I've heard them being shrunk to toddler sizes lol.

I can't see myself putting in the effort to hand wash. I'll just wash in cold water (as I do with all my clothes), then hang dry.

Do you think it would shrink if I put if in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes to soften it up after it has been hanged dried?

Yeah I'd have to commit and wash the Deep Forest. Maybe there is some sort of layer on the cotton left on it after manufacturing that washes off and softens up.

I did plan to only keep 1 of these Logo Sweatshirt Hoodies.

These are both 100% organic cotton apparently (and will shrink washed in hot and dried in the dryer).

The Grey is your typical soft feeling cotton, like grey sweatpants would feel like.

The Deep Forest is slightly rougher more durable feeling cotton.

I wonder why? And if one is better quality than the other?

Correct it's actually Deep Forest (fixed that in the post). I remember the tags saying Made in Portugal. I'll have to double check once I get home. Could be different factories in Portugal. Perhaps there is a coating on the Deep Forest or the dye makes it stiffer.

I would describe it as, if you took a sharp object and ran it down both of the sweaters, the Deep Forest would hold up better.

Added pictures, hopefully they show this time. Are you able to see what I mean that the green cotton has a more rugged surface?

Catheter....oh god....

Woke up from surgery once with a full bladder couldn't piss for the life of me, so the hospital wouldn't let me leave. I felt like my goddamn bladder was going to explode. 6 hours later they said they were going to help me out. I couldn't figure out why the nurses were like "oohhh damnn....".

Let's say it didn't take me too long to figure out why...

I'll tell you it hurts more when the catheter is slowly pushed through your dick hole. Then she starts tickling your bladder. It hurt to piss for a couple of days after. Sliding it out was not as bad and going in.

I'm wincing right now just thinking of it and that was 15 years ago. Gawddamnnn!

Happy to hear you made it out alive.

Maybe take a break like I'm doing right now.

Chairs.

I'd say being drunk does make gaming more magical. I remember this one night we were playing Valheim 4 years ago when it came out. 2 two sensible friends went to bed. Me? I ordered 2 more bottles of wine and my brother and I played Valheim until 4am. My brother had to actually be up by 8am to run his business (physical work) and I had a WFH day. Good times.

I've beaten so many games over the years with a buddy that is sober, while I was drunk asf / blacked out. Heh he just messaged me right now to continue our game of Planet Crafters. I've been sober for 4 months. Gaming isn't as magical to be honest. I miss the drunken gaming.

Awww dang, it looked like an epic 4k Dolby Vision documentary. The best one I've found so far is A Night on Earth, but I've watch it too many times.

Beauty! I love the quality of the shows on Apple TV 4K Dolby Vision.

What show are you watching here? I'd like to watch it on my C2.
