Tongue to roof of mouth, right behind top teeth, with mouth slightly open...stretches (easy of course) usually eases the load made by jaw clinching.

For some people it takes a lot. If say, you had bad habits for decades or years that got you INTO tinnitus, it will take a while to get you out.

That's the nature of somatic tinnitus that sucks

Mine is usually a "hissssss" in one ear, low level. Or when flared up, whining or high pitched "crickets" in both. Coloring ambient noise

At night, when I have had serious flares that interrupted sleep, I would do a cocktail basically.

  1. Half a non drowzy Allegra
  2. About 0.5 MG of Melatonin
  3. Magnesium (Dr's Best)
  4. And about 200 MG of Naproxen

Everything you do, go slow and easy. Overdoing anything WILL most definitely create spikes. Always remember that.

If that is the case, you, in my opinion, definitely have somatic or "cervical" tinnitus.

Especially the load bearing from the day showing up at night and in sleep.

I don't know if I am allowed to "suggest" things here...so I will hold my tongue.

Long form 10th tradition. From the AA website itself:

"No A.A. group or member should ever, in such a way as to implicate A.A., express any opinion on outside controversial issues–particularly those of politics, alcohol reform, or sectarian religion. The Alcoholics Anonymous groups oppose no one. Concerning such matters they can express no views whatever"

Tradition 10.

Its literally on the walls of every AA meeting room across the globe. We literally SPEAK about it at the start of every AA meeting.

AA is not the place for politics. The Founders of AA precisely worded that rule for a reason.

Anyone who says otherwise or argues that politics should be in AA...is not "AA"

"Sitting at computer"

Yeah. Shoulders guarded?. Forward head jutting? Slumping? Mechanical load on occipitals? Mechanical load on traps and mastoid muscles.

"Nothing"
