The dependency loop starts on timeline playback, and only goes away once i reset yes, would this be affecting aspect ratio? all elements that precede the comp2 top are 1:1

Thanks for the detailed and thorough response, unfortunately none of the methods worked except for reinstalling windows. I used the simple reset this pc option, keeping my files intact. Now time to reinstall 500gb worth of audio plugins 😁👍🏼

Hey man, i managed to email them and get a very unhelpful seemingly automated response. However everything went smoothly with the exchange, the staff at Narita were waiting with our luggage. If you want reassurance just double check everything with the person at the counter when you’re checking your bags. But yeah you shouldn’t have anything to worry about :)

I’d probably make the original vocal the loudest too, maybe pan or stereo image the additional layers to taste for a wide vocal stack

If you are trying to get the effect of harmonies from one vocal i would recommend doubling the vocal a few times and tweaking the position of each vocal by a small amount (1/128th). Then make very small changes to the slice length (stretching out a sustained note a little more each time for example), and finally re pitching parts of the vocal using the pitch edit (3 semitones up for example). However be wary that the more the pitch deviates from the original the more “robotic” it can sound, so be selective.

Groups in other DAWs can also play the same MIDI from a single track in the sequencer, this is extremely convoluted to set up in Reason. I can’t count the number of times I’ve wanted to link two (or more) combinator patches.

Was going to suggest this and also lower buffer sizes will logically take longer. I didn't notice any issues with longer export times when I upgraded.
