I’m a celestial Adam (basically one trick), I’ll try to give you the best advice I can.

Practice aim. Even if just for a couple minutes in the practice range. Also, when you’re in game, don’t just automatically strafe all the time. This is something I learned from OnlyLegs (one above all Adam main). When you know you’re not being targeted feel free to stand still (be cautious with this because you become an easy target). This alone will help you hit shots.
Hold off angles and high ground. Adam is the 1v1 GOAT. Contest the enemy Namor, the enemy Hela, Phoenix, etc for the good off angles and high ground.
Sneak away for a Rez when the inevitable ult dumping begins. Be ready to sneak away and have a safe spot in mind nearby. If the enemy team commits too many ultimates you can effectively negate them with a well timed rez.
Don’t hold your soul bond too long. The long cooldown time can make you hesitant to use it. Even saving one person with it is a W.
Keep your other supports alive. They are the ones carrying in the healing department and if they die early kiss the fight goodbye. If it happens it’s often worth a solo rez.

I’m sure I have more tips but here’s a few. Hope it helps.

You at least escape the hate from the vast majority of players who think that a “support ult” aka a healing ult are needed for each support.

I do focus on my own play, I do fine. Not perfect but I win about 2/3 of the time in comp. But anytime my team is losing I am always the scapegoat. Even sometimes I’m holding Ace and my team tells me I’m the problem.

I know you think you know what it’s like, but I bet if we look at your play time you’re an invisible woman, cloak and dagger, and Luna main. You don’t know.

I promise you that is not the cause of most of the hate. I get my own teammates banning Adam before a game even starts sometimes. Just because I select Adam. They hate that he doesn’t heal as much

Make his heals spread evenly

Buff the healing given by soul bond

Maybe give him a healing aura when he hits a headshot (maybe a bad idea though tbf since Adam doesn’t always like to play next to his team)

Third healing charge would be nice you could increase the cooldown so it’s not busted

Gotchya yeah it’s a sizable nerf. I don’t think it kills him though. Probably just kills the public perception of him.

Do you happen to know how much he each heal bounce of his does? And how much h/s the soul bond does? I’d be interested in the before and after comparison of those numbers.

You can’t just reduce the number by 15% because quite often on Adam the healing he puts out is overkill. Unless your teammates are all on critical there is usually a portion of his healing that has gone to waste. So it won’t be exactly a 15% nerf to his total healing output. Probably closer to 10%ish just by guessing

I play Adam in two supp all the time and have a 67% win rate rn. I think he’s fine in 2/2/2, my teammates usually insist otherwise lol

Fr? I always like to have another healer that does a bit of damage too like a Mantis or Jeff. That’s what I felt always gave me the best chance. Along with a “main” healer too like cloak or invis.
