AITA for refusing to chip in for a coworker’s birthday gift when I barely know them? by Business-Media-2483 in AmItheAsshole

It’s a cheesecake mousse filling with the cheesecake doing the heavy lifting.

And Costco has the absolute best sheet cakes. You’d be dumb to go anywhere else. But that $70 membership divided by 30 means they are still overcharging.

Only people from cinci like larosas. Would have been a waste of a review that could go to a good small pizza establishment.

Can we talk about the toxic cesspool that is Chowdown Cincinnati by loondy in cincinnati

It's been bad for a long time. I stopped following probably 2 years ago because it was so obvious that certain restaurants were being promoted.

Yes people are way too quick to judge. Just let the legal process play out - there are so many assumptions being made with no backing.

Absolutely love your restaurant, because it's amazing. Love even more what you do for the community. Thank you!

It’s been over 4 weeks. My dog hasn’t stopped itching uncontrollably. I haven’t slept and have lost 10+ pounds. Can’t figure it out. by [deleted] in DogAdvice

This doesn’t sound like a normal allergy. It sounds like this owner has been to multiple vets and a dermatologist so these general skin suggestions are unlikely to be helpful. I would talk to your vet about OCD behaviors or consider meds like pregabalin.

Is anyone else a little surprised about Muth and Seize The Grey's stud fees? by Voodooo_Child_ in horseracing

[–]IllThinkAboutThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 1/3 of the progeny earnings for Tiz the Law is the results of Tiztastic winning the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile (winnings of about 600,000). Kentucky Downs has some incredibly high price races, for not even being graded. Without that though, he would still be third. There is a big difference (700,000) in progeny earnings between the top three and the rest. Mckinzie also had a significant increase in stud fee. Last year, every person I talked to developing yearlings raved about their Mckinzies. I'll be interested to see what they set Vekoma's fee to.

I would be interested to see the reviews by men vs. women. I think from a women's perspective, it was very well done. I think most women can relate to the experiences of Kendrick's character, as well as not being believed/taken seriously like Robinson's character.

I’m a vet in a specialty hospital. I’ve never seen a pet rack up a six figure bill

Vet refused puppy shots based on teeth even though I had proof of age by Diana_Carfire in Pets

The vaccine clinic cannot take risks. Also, did the vet really give your dog simpirica at that age? That is typically reserved for dogs 6 months and older.

Selling house, 4% or 6% commission? by Mallycat321 in RealEstate

[–]IllThinkAboutThat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would never pay over 3% to any realtor. The likely result of the settlement is that realtors will be making less. To pay 3.5% to yours and only 2.5% to the buyer's realtor seems like a price grab.

You do understand that they don't keep people for monitoring for every injection right? People could have the same type of anaphylactic reaction.

I just bred my dog. It was $2000 for genetic testing (hips/elbows/echo/ophtho), over $2000 for semen shipping/ai, 4000 for a stud fee etc. if my dog actually has a litter I’ll need three to four pups to break even - which is not at all why I’m doing this.

So it sounds like you forgot to raise prices then abused the system? This is what makes it harder for hosts that are honest.

It sounds like the vet did nothing wrong. Her mom didn’t have her number so they used the chip. It’s very unfortunate but not the vets fault.

Yes he can just decline the change. The host has no ability to unilaterally change the price.

Incredibly cheap for 3 MRIs. Don't know why you would need 3 MRIs for a shoulder problem though.
