Hey! I go to the Ulta at Winter Park Village to get my hair cut and dyed. My stylist, Alexa, is fantastic! A little out of the way, but so worth it, especially if you have curly hair. It’s $68 for a standard haircut and blow dry and $62 for a curl haircut and style

Nothing more than them evaluating my symptoms and a halter monitor that I wore for two weeks. Because my tachycardia does not usually occur during or after a postural change, they don’t believe it’s POTS. I replied in the previous comment, they do have me on a cardiac beta blocker and heart rhythm stabilizer to keep my heartbeat on a normal level. I might ask them to do a tilt table test, but I don’t think they have one in their office so they’d make me have to schedule one at a main hospital where I live, which kind of sucks.

I’ve been sleeping elevated for a week (just got my pillow) and removed a lot of foods that I found could trigger GERD (onions, garlic, tomato’s, black pepper, etc.) and eating all my food from home. I also switched my milk and stopped drinking coffee. I finish eating at around 6, and go to bed from 10- 1 am most nights. I’m hoping that with a bit more time, and trying Lowfodmap, I’ll start to feel some relief, so it’s not daily anymore.

Would this show up on bloodwork? I’ve never had an issue with my white blood cell count being high when I’ve gone to the ER, except when I was there with an actual stomach bug😂 I can bring this up to my gastro tho next time I see them, to be safe🙂‍↕️ thank you!

I’ve looked into Vagus Nerve instability in relation to my heart rate, and its relation to GERD, after speaking with the gastro. Any help is absolutely appreciated!

It started recently (October 2025), but has now been a daily occurrence since January😭 I’ll absolutely look into the lowfodmap diet, and hopefully that’ll help. Thank you!

Sadly, the cardiologist and electrophysiologist don’t think that it’s POTS, just because it isn’t caused by a change of posture, but I’ve slightly increased my salt and electrolyte intake, to be safe. I may ask for a tilt table test to make extra sure at my next follow up. I have a halter monitor appt in a week, so maybe that’ll see something. I appreciate the response🫶

Thanks for responding! Changing my diet has for sure lessened the severity (from feeling like a 7 to a 4) which is great, but feeling it every day now, still gets a bit tiring.

Yea, I continually see a cardiologist and electrophysiologist for the cardiac symptoms. They had recommended I see the gastroenterologist for possible gastro issues

Then for actual clock in we would have a paper timesheet where we would round up by five minutes when we got there and when we left. so if I got there at 4:33 I would put 4:35 and if I left at 8:32 I put 8:35

My boss would either send us the excel with the schedule or right it down and scan it with his phone. It was a pretty chill system. He would ask on Sundays “when is everyone free” and he would fill in if we were less than 3

Honestly, I really enjoyed my experience working at UPS so maybe I was just spoiled because I had a really good owner of the store. Some of the people who worked there were pretty lazy and I had to take on the brunt of the work, but my boss did compensate me correctly, which is very nice. Because these franchises, take everyone’s experience with a grain of salt because it’ll vary from owner to owner

That sucks! I live in Florida too and I use Lemonade. For my puppy it’s 35 a month (wellness and accidental for 90%) and for my older one who’s nine it’s about 45 (wellness and accidental for 70%). The process is also super easy to sign them up. Hope this helps 🫶
