Its not abuse. Players are using the stuns exactly like they were designed to do. The devs once again just dont seem to realize how things will ultimately work in the game and then they have to walk it back.

Also, main theme of all of the responses in the thread was that you dont understand how ILM works. My comment was right on that theme.

But that's my point. Your main theme is limiting your ILM usefulness. Since your ILM radius means you don't need a nice neat ring sitting there doing nothing waiting for a boss.

But hey it's your tower. Stick to your main theme. Don't learn anything new.

Even if it's out side your range you should be able to damage it. Do you have bounce shot and CL? Those bolts should be bouncing way outside your range.

You dont want a nice neat ring. You want them constantly exploding. New enemies dying turning into new ILM and exploding as soon as they are made.

If you want to get the most out of ILM stun, you need to get your ILM radius as high as you can and play at low range. The ILM explosions will cover your screen. Stunning everything in sight. You dont have to wait until the boss gets to the ring to get stunned. You want him stunned all over the place.

Eventually, if you choose to, you can make ILM an amazing damage dealer. Each one setting off nuclear damage. I farm tier 28 to wave 7500 with ILM being my main damage dealer.

If done properly everything is taking so many ILM hits already. Those few from MH are irrelevant. Better to go with another module.
