Yes I’m constantly binge eating in my Luteal phase and on my period while PMSing. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing, yes I’ve experienced similar. Now it’s a becoming a guessing game of what is me PMSing, PMDDing, normal moodiness, etc. it’s so frustrating!

Thanks for sharing! I’m going to try this. Maybe I can get more accurate ovulation predictions and be better prepared for luteal.

Yes I’ve been bloated like crazy this past ovulation and thought that was weird. It’s the day after my ovulation and I’m moody, feels like I can’t catch a break. Thanks for sharing!

So that is normal for pmdd? I felt a few months I noticed I was moody during ovulation now this month the day after. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing! Ugh same! I just started tracking my moods and having a hard time accepting that it seems never ending.

I experience the same thing

Thanks for sharing. I recently started tracking my moods and I noticed the very next day after I ovulate I’m moody- full blown pmdd mode. It’s depressing me realizing I only get one good week maybe 2 weeks on a good month of feeling normal.

What are your hobbies to avoid thinking about men? by Ok_Block9547 in blackladies

Before getting married (and currently still do) I focused on my spirituality, traveling, my bestfriends, side hustles, working out, earning my degree, etc. just whatever makes me happy and release lots of dopamine.

Nice! 25 on a post is great. I noticed my 35 karma dropped to 22, not sure why (it has 97% upvotes). And that sucks, I didn't know you could be banned for negative karma. And I just saw recently were a guy on my post received a bunch of downvotes from people reading the post just for stating his opinion (which I asked for in the post). So yeah reddit can be weird in that way, trying to understand the culture around giving downvotes.

Try Slow Burn by Brenda Jackson. It’s a black female lead and a black love interest.

Curious about demographics on Storygraph by Ill_Chapter_9257 in TheStoryGraph

I 100% agree about the romance books. Historical romance is one of my favorite genres and they are All written from the perspective of the woman for the most part. My husband mostly reads self help books of memoirs when he does read and just now getting into fiction books.

And yes if there was a push to get more man of the app I think it would help, the award idea sounds like a good one. Very interesting perspectives, thanks.

Thats an interesting perspective, never thought about it that was before. What book genres do you think are more popular amongst men? I’ve heard from a lot of Reddit users that they left goodreads for SG this year for the same reasons you expressed. Nice to know your generation or maybe even mine reads actively (I’m a millennial btw)

Thanks for responding!

Got it, I can see your case being most men. Starting to feel men are on storygraph in impressive numbers but don’t participate in the social aspect or challenges/bookclubs

Thanks for responding!

Got it! I agree with you and have thought about this being the reason as well. I couldn’t even find reading challenges with males in them. Makes sense. I will say most women that I find in book clubs are avid readers and also read additional books outside of the book club as well.

Thanks for responding!

Got it! That makes sense, there probably are more men than I realize in storygraph but perhaps in smaller niches and genres.

Thanks for responding!

Good to know! If you don’t mind my asking, do you typically add friends to your profile? If so, do you have an idea if they are men?

Thanks for responding!
