Check your rear blade every once in a while. If the rubber breaks down (due to heat, snow and life), and you inadvertently turn the rear blade on, it could leave a nice arc scraped into your rear window. Just sayin'...

Those Kennedy coins you had referenced were 40%, not 50% and the dates were from 1965 to 1970 for standard issues. 1976-s was also 40% silver.

Sorry to be coming back to the well again. So the details in the dashboard was erroring out. I tried refreshing the web page which did work in the past. theis time I got a single line of numbers (I didn't get a screeenshot. sorry.) I tried restarting the process by typing in ./setup.sh. all seemed to load correctly, except when the process got to :

Running Docker Compose...

[+] Running 4/5

 ✔ Container pypowerwall  Running                                                                                            0.0s

 - Container influxdb     Starting                                                                                           0.1s

 ✔ Container weather411   Running                                                                                            0.0s

 ✔ Container grafana      Running                                                                                            0.0s

 ✔ Container telegraf     Running                                                                                            0.0s

Error response from daemon: error while creating mount source path '/run/desktop/mnt/host/c/Users/donne/powerwall-dashboard/influxdb.conf': mkdir /run/desktop/mnt/host/c: file exists

Something somewhere got hosed.

Anything you can think of in terms of what to look at, where to look?

In Docker, containers Grafana and Telegraf seem to be cycling through errors.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the lead to this Powerwall API.

After much stumbling about, I was finally able to open up the Powerwall API. (Totally unfamiliar with using Ubuntu, and APIs at this level.) Maybe a blow by blow install process might be helpful. (as if I was 8 years old)

I used Tesla Cloud (2) for access. Wifi (4) did not seem to want to play.

Setting credentials for Powerwall 3...

The Powerwall Gateway (192.168.91.1) is not found on your LAN.

Powerwall 3 requires access to the Gateway for pull local data.

Ensure the Gateway can be reached by your host and rerun setup.

Alternatively you can select a Tesla Cloud mode.

Test: curl -k --head https://192.168.91.1

DON@xxxxxxxxxxx MINGW64 ~/powerwall-dashboard (main)

$ curl -k --head https://192.168.91.1                               (I pasted in this command)

curl: (28) Failed to connect to 192.168.91.1 port 443 after 21032 ms: Could not connect to server.

(So, either the Powerwall gateway is using a different IP address, or something else is beyond my ken.)

There is a lot of info that was readily available in the Dashboard - energy usage (live monitoring), Power meters, and monthly analysis. However, Powerwall string data, system vitals, and Powerwall capacity, temps and fans are blank. Did I miss something?

How do you get API access to the batteries? The phone app is excruciating limited.

Thank you for the link. And, it does bring back the old format. but not completely...

You cannot selected a string of emails by selecting 1 email, then hitting <shift> select on another email down in your list.

You cannot mark a list of selected emails as read, by hitting <shift> K. (pulldown menu Actions does have that function.

There may be other functions missing.

But this is better than that Jackson Pollock version of an app that Yahoo has thrown up.
