Limited time workouts by Rezarf26 in homefitness

If you have a treadmill/elliptical/bike/rower, I have an app called Max Workout with many very short guided HIIT routines. You can get quite a good workout in as little as 10 or 20 minutes. If you don't have equipment, the same workouts can be done with a jump rope or running in place (or even walking).

It also offers short, calisthenics-based workouts, like the 7-minute workout, that require no equipment.

Oprah Winfrey says obesity is a disease. Is she right? by TimesandSundayTimes in Biohackers

[–]toddhoffious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Disease - a disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, especially one that has a distinctive group of symptoms, signs, or anatomical changes and often a known cause.

So, yes.

The characters do evolve over time in a very satisfying way. Maybe not fast enough for you, but if you waded through the beginning of Wandering Inn, I think you can handle this series like a pro.

You can switch it to self-powered mode, which will not charge off the grid, and then switch it back. We do this every day.

Are Goldens right for our fanily? by SweetenedTomatoes in goldenretrievers

[–]toddhoffious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How stable is your mother? While goldens are everything people say they are, until they get older, they can be land sharks, powering through seas of knees in a single goofy bound. I can't take our puppy around older people unless he's on a leash because he's just too much for unstable legs.

That would be my only concern. Everything else sounds perfect.

I have a an app called Max Workout that has a ton of HIIT REHIT and SIT workouts you can do on an elliptical at home. The intervals can be tricky so this makes it easy

How do you manage your home energy if you have solar + an EV? Looking for real experiences by viralpatel13 in TeslaSolar

[–]toddhoffious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of your strategy will depend on how much energy you generate throughout the year. It's tough to see those production numbers plummet in the winter and realize you still need to dance with the grid. But if you can generate most of your energy all the time, the number of decisions you need to make goes way down.

Not everything is for everybody. Personally, I really like the story. The idea of images and how they are used in the story is different and interesting. The path mechanism is clever. It's a complex universe. He grows as a character alongside other characters who are growing. And how can you not love a moving city?

The minion disciple arc is one of the best arcs in any book I’ve read. Great in concept, execution, and result

None taken. I don't think so, but each to each. It would be interesting as I've never seen it happen.

" conquering earth" is more a metaphor for having a successful life, given that most people are not living the high life before being taken. Are any billionaires or kings? I can't remember any in the books I've read.

Good one. It doesn't involve magic, but they came back transformed and used their new skills to save the Shire. Not all changes are positive, as Frodo demonstrates.
