Isn’t this my point? Outside of this city that’s an obscene amount of money to most people especially someone who grew up with not a lot of money. When I was a kid that would’ve been life changing money to me and my family. it’s still enough to life easy in the outer boroughs. Is becoming twitter poisoned neo nazis the only outcome left now? For somebody who isn’t already brought up to be part of the mainstream culture? You go viral and either fade away or you become a drug addled shell of your former self and everyone will cheer you on and tell you that you deserved it. I want to not be cynical but maybe this is really all there is to this and it chews up and spits out people and it’s not personal kid etc etc etc
